Future CAS DLC

Yeah, well, I don't see no blank spots here...(Or anything else for that matter, there's enough blank space for a rectangle for DLC12/CP9 anyways, but they decide not to.) All in all, grand total of all DLC should cost around $88/7040MSP or a bit higher probably...

... but he's okay with handing out characters and stages as pre-order exclusives >.>

As previously said, the characters would be released (for free by Harada's demands) later. I hate to say this, but this is how the industry works these days. You have to have preorder bonuses due to how important preordered games are.

So you'd rather pay for shit you shouldnt have to pay for?
I think my point is that Harada saying his DLC is free doesn't make him "the savior" of gaming as many think he is. Trust me, I've heard it by many outside of 8WayRun. Even I can understand that those who have paid DLC are doing it for a reason. In Project Soul's case, probably the need of money.

Free DLC is great, and I do prefer that over paid DLC, but it has been done before (Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires).

Tekken is like the "Beyonce of fighting games": They take elements "inspired" by others, yet still praised for it. However, let someone else do it. They will be labeled as, in Tekken's case, "Tekken clones", ironically by Tekken fans. This was the case of Kensei: Sacred Fist, Kakuto Chojin, Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus, or pretty much any 3d hand to hand fighting game. Apparently, Tekken fans love to ignore the fact that Tekken wasn't the first 3D hand-to-hand fighting game.

In Beyonce's case, her fans either bully others that they feel is either "giving shade" to Beyonce, or is competition to her. This was the case of Rihanna when she debuted, and it still is an issue. This is also the case of any African-American female R&B singer that dances as the first thing they say is "She sounds like Beyonce, or is trying to be her". Lady Gaga is an inclusion as well.

Tekken is still a great game though, but it gets way too much credit, and it seems to me it is treated a little too fairly. I think Namco themselves developing it, rather than someone different like SC, could be a factor as well.

from Daishi's twitter, it almost sounds like PS is finally disbanding once again, if they haven't already moved on to greener pastures ....sigh.....

I would not be surprised at this at all. I wouldn't know who specifically to blame, but I would gladly point fingers.

I definitely agree with that. I actually really liked her SCIII 2P outfit. It really struck me as something a mildly eccentric, lonely alchemist would wear. And her SCII pirate outfit didn't exactly fit with her backstory or anything, but it was pretty awesome. I just wish they'd keep in mind her actual personality, story, and even age when making her designs. I mean really, even by SCIV, she's was already getting up there in age. Her SCIV outfit was nothing more than fanservice.

It's funny, at first I didn't really like her SCIII 2p outfit that much but when I got around to coloring it, that's when I fell in love with it. Yeah, it really was eccentric but it seemed appropriate for her. She likes to be in solitude away from people but deep down, she might be lonely so she is mourning her loneliness (I get that from her funeral-type veil hat. Haha I sometimes like to analyze a story behind character designs) but she is always on guard (explains her breast plate). And I agree, her SCII pirate outfit didn't make sense but it still was a nicely designed outfit. I just thought it was playoff from her SCI 2p outfit, just more elegant styled. In SCIV, she just didn't seem like the "Ivy" I knew and loved. So yeah... Sorry again Rocky, I sometimes get carried away. ^^;

Who knows, they might release something in the future.
I don't know, I said the same thing with SCIV and sadly, nothing came other then the Christmas/Halloween & School outfits... After that, nothing worthwhile came out...

From that, I really do hope they disband all together to end this load of shit.
No SC, No Crap! Freakin' sell the franchise to someone who will actually do something worthwhile and will actually listen to its fans. OMG

(I might not mean it, but I'm pissed (still))

It's already disbanded. All Namco teams are now part of a bigger team so they can make games faster. So no Project Soul, no Tekken Project and no other teams exist as before. Still everyone has its place on its games I guess (Harada as Tekken director, Daishi as SC director, etc.).

So in other words, it's "Namco" that will develop any future installments of SC rather than just publishing it? If this is true, it can be good news for the future of the series.

Nobodys seemed to mention it but I was really looking forward to getting Mitsurugis and edge masters gear. I knowmost people were after hildie and nightmares stuff. We should just bombard the guy on twitter until he gives in :-)

On the contrary, I fear that. I know Project Soul and CC2 would have done an awesome game with more developing time. Now Namco may have more power... I don't know. Let's hold and see what the future brings.

CC2 did the story mode .___.

Hence it sucking. Sure, it has more of a semblance of actual story than the text walls and occasional live-rendered cutscenes of previous SC game, but C'MON. Are you seriously happy that the protagonist we were stuck with is Pattycakes and that his story is his obsession with his sister and mother while he runs around killing people? Sure, if you look at it from the cultural perspective the Japanese place a greater importance on family than most English-speaking cultures do but then again: what part of "Pattycakes runs around murdering people in pursuit of gratifying his obsession with his sister and mother" sounds...well, good? Even without the subpar localization that's pretty bad in my book.

That, and CC2 made both .hack and several Narutard games if I'm not mistaken. Even if SCV's story mode was awesome, .hack and Narutard are plenty of reason to hate CC2 in my book. Hmph.

Sorry to say, that CC2 did the story, yes, but the storyline was by Project Soul. And it was incomplete. Hence it was better than before but worse thn it should have been.

Thanks to Namco again! :D

You mad......

Patroklos and Pyrrha's portrayal was perfect and widely developed. Patroklos seeks for Justice but ends up getting played for Nightmare's benefits, while Pyrrha doesn't want to fight anyone because of her "malfested" gene, but Tira keeps forcing her to in order to activate this "malfested" gene and find a rightful owner to Soul Edge, since she thinks the current Nightmare is a phony.

My problem was that the others didn't get their shine, which I'm hoping they will in future installments.

But yes, I do agree that CC2 could do better as far as the story is concerned. Hell, even I could contribute to that.

Who has actually tweet daishi for a confirm about the release for the 3rd SCV character packs??

IDK if it was any 8WR user or a random tweeter mentioning/telling it, but someone should ask with the latest image of the rest of the unreleased gears as well. But chances are, he might say no, and this is all that we're getting...But you never know...

John McKee already asked and I think Mistakoo or whatever asked too with an attached image of the unreleased DLC. Daishi has yet to reply though...
