Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

There's a video on gamespot that has her doing command training. She has a few individual moves that lead to her takedowns including a feint into takedown. And as far as I could tell, she has a least two moves post-takedown.

Helena with her hair down? Looks realy cool, i think it would have been better for it to be like that as a result of fighting, rather than a selectable thing. To further show the dynamic models and changes that go on with them along with the snow, dirt, sweat, and water. Still cant wait to see Mila in her formal outfit, if they gave her one.

And yeah, that air throw of Brads is really cool and i'm glad they made it part of his new stance. It seems like quite a few characters have that tool in this game.

A certain person in this forum already told you that Doa was all about style....How can you keep a coherent roster with a character creation mode...?

So is SCV and VF and Tekken. They still got em lol. Real answer is because they want to sell you costumes as DLC.
VF and Tekken don't have CAF modes, which I believe was the topic at hand.

Beside, TN isn't really the biggest and most prosperous dev team around. I'm happy that they've been spending their time and money the way they have been these past 6 or so months - changing and fixing the game based on feedback from competitive players. I mean, look at how holds have changed from the alpha demo -where they were somewhere in between DOA 4 (ugh) and 3 in effectiveness - to how they are now where they're probably the weakest they've been since the DOA and DOA++. That, and working with IPL to get the game out on the road and into tournaments.

^^ This very much.

Heck, why more fighting games don't include character creators is beyond me.

Creation is not that big of a feature, nor should it be required to make the game better, especially when all that will probably be included are preset styles from the default characters. Customization of the default characters is fine enough.

The only reason SoulCalibur even introduced it in SC3 is because of Chronicles of the Sword. Now it's pretty useless, because PS doesn't make the feature useful. Somewhat they did in Quick Battle, but that's a downgrade compared to Chronicles of the Sword.

Virtua Fighter and Tekken have character customization, not character creation.

^I personally don't like character customization I don't know if that aspect has an effect in VF as I'm pretty sure it does in Tekken though I assume from Namco it will probably be cheese.

I prefer costume presets and that's about enough costomization for me. I totally agree with the absence of character creation.

WOW!! Brads Air Throw is official. I may become a one character player because of that one move.

As a Brad player myself, I hear that loud and clear. Finally gave him an air throw.

I honestly cannot wait to get my mitts on this game. DOA's are always high damage over the top blast fests I highly enjoy, oh and they look amazing too.

Fucken too much awesomeuness - My Vdownloader is working overtime... (I prefer to watch these videos for the 1st time on my 50" HDTV - thank you very much lol ;D)

The ESRB Knows Dead or Alive Too Well

Japanese fighting game Dead or Alive features a bevy of curvy ladies punching and kicking each other in the face. For years now, the DoA's have been talking up two things: Fighting game mechanics and boob physics.
So when the Entertainment Software Rating Board had a crack at the latest DoA, Dead or Alive 5, it sure hit all the high notes: Here are the memorable bits:
Most female fighters are dressed in revealing outfits (large amounts of cleavage); their breasts sometimes jiggle while standing or fighting. Some bikini-style costumes (with thin strips of cloth) barely cover fighters' bodies, exposing large amounts of breasts/buttocks; one hologram-like figure appears to be nude-though her reflective skin obscures any discernible details (i.e., nipples or genitalia). In Photo mode, players can zoom in on fighters' cleavage or underwear as they pose for the camera. Some scenes are coupled with sexual innuendo (e.g., "Pleasure me," "Enough with the foreplay.").
Dead or Alive is rated "M" for "Mature". So is this ESRB rating description.

(A fun read :)

What are all the more competitive DoA sites? I know I tred signing up for doacentral or some place like two years ago but you needed aproval or some ish and it didn't seem like any came to give approval.
