easy to use, easy to win? that's what mitsu is.That's what I was saying...
This game doesn't seem to have a Mitsurugi. I guess only Mitsurugi is Mitsurugi.

I wish. My boyfriend hit the lab with my character before he did it with his own. Not to mention I have been fighting Viola since Day 1.Dare I say... Day 1 Maxi all over again?
I was looking for a beginner's character, but I actually think I'll stick with Mila. i14 stop kick, offensive hold takedown, 1-2 hits to CB. I just gotta learn to play.
I would say Jann Lee is DOA's Mitsurugi. This game doesn't seem to have a Mitsurugi. I guess only Mitsurugi is Mitsurugi.

Nope.Like the slow-motion replay you get at the end of each round like in DOA4?
Something something something snarky comment about balancing new characters. As previously stated, Mila and Rig falling nicely into place as top tier among the DOA cast.
Sure is. Even if he ignores what could be a potential ass-kicking, rock-crushing girlfriend.I would say Jann Lee is DOA's Mitsurugi.
Here's the one advice which will sound contradictory if you have trouble with the Izuna counter holds:This is some good stuff, thanks buddy.
All the Izuna drops are a pain in the ass, but the counter hold one's are the worst. The main one seems to be "Izuna-Otoshi", which seems to represent the general Izuna Drop motions well. For the counter hold Izunas, I use the left stick to initiate the advanced hold then immediately go to the 21478H motion then the other way for 360. The hardest part for me is changing directions for the 360 motion. The inputs aren't really a JF like the VF characters but more so treated like one big smooth motion.

The best advice I can give for the Izuna variations is to do the commands during the time that "Combo Throw" is on the screen. Unfortunately I haven't noticed what pops up for the Izuna holds and for Sarah's P2KKK, just think of it as A Pat's JF 1AAA. Sorry if I'm late ._.Putting aside the technical discussions for the moment. How many of you managed to complete the command training for all characters? I still have Hayabusa and Sarah to go. Hayabusa's holds into Izuna Drops and Sarah's JF P2KKK are pretty difficult.
Have you tried Hitomi? She's like DOA's Pyrrha but actually hits hard and blasts back from almost anything. Think if Pyrrha was given Nightmare's sword but got to retain her speed. I win with her 5x more often than any other character aside from Jann Lee possibly (why is his stupid Dragon Kick an UB? Is there any justification for it? I hit it way more often than I should compared to ofter character's 236K's).
In DOA4. DOA5 is shitty online.In DOA5's netcode?
I starting to think you really have to main 1 character in this game to be effective. I've been training with Kasumi for a while now and the possibilities seem endless. It's a very, very fluid game.
Picking a main will help you go far. I used to play Bayman until i picked up Eliot. In which i realized if i want to be good with him i'll have to train with him consistently. And like in most 3D fighters match up knowledge is crucial. You'll want to learn when to parry, how to punish optimally, how to space with your character, in addition to a bunch of other factors that you need to become familiar with.
