Okay... you all must not have read my very important post... Ryu can destroy you if you throw a punch, so basically you would want to avoid any mid punch which literally means you wont be able to critical burst with practically any character (cept zack I think? 236K CB! IIRC) so I let people think I suck and then make them suck on 112 damage from high counter hold... and people are worried about what exactly? you can hold nearly every move in the game and you can watch your enemies inputs. Talk about easy mode. Pai on the otherhand is the hardest character to use in the game. Maybe I should make a skill video for her...

I like starting matches with 33P_33PP. if someone starts with PP or some other high chain(most people do, it's usually the fastest option) 33P tech ducks under it and crushes for a stun(33P 2K+H BKO K 7P is my favorite CB set up, though it can be countered) or you can 33PP for a PPK follow up air juggle. If someone starts using a move that beats her 33P I still 33 up in their face and then just block their attempt to hit me first then punish when I can. If they start countering it, I 33 in their face then 1PP instead. Basically get in their face, and make them scared to do anything against you at the start of the round. 33 in their face then 3K(KK) instead of the 33P works well when they expect 33P as well.

Helena is probably my best character, but I really don't feel like I'm that good at this game(I just feel most people are complete garbage at it, making me look good) which is why I said I'm ok with her. I have a decent understanding of how to play, and I win a lot more than I lose, but I feel I rely on really bad moves that will get me killed when facing someone who knows how to handle it(then again, maybe that's just her "low tier" showing through...I'm still not completely convinced she's as bad as some say). Though I can say that against the average person you'll run into online, 33P and it's variations mixed with 1PP will get you more wins than losses. Especially at the start of the round.

please let us not bring up tiers. who cares? just use who you like. the game hasn't been out long enough to even consider tiers anyway and not to mention that the patches are surely going to change things around.

And next to all that, talk about tiers just rile people up. It's like talking about politics and religion. people will only get angry.

People make tier lists instead of ease of use lists.

I honestly think the latter would be more useful. For every game, really.

Yeah, noticed that after my post too. Developers still behave in a different way when it comes to patches. Hell, the SCV Project Soul Team came up with a (balance)-patch only after a few weeks.

and some question to everyone here..does anyone know how to instant teleport with Alpha?
I mean...if i pick her up as an opponnent in sparring..the A.I. does it like there is no tomorrow....
Dont tell me plz that this is an "only A.I." move -.-
But its really fun with her...and believe me...she is not so bad lol...its the opposite....
