α Patroklos General Discussion/ Q&A

Pats 4A move. It feels/looks like this move have big potential, however I've never seen someone use this. Is it, truly, useless?

Hey guys new here. Love patsuka. Anyone on pan that would train with me? I can do all his moves just gotta develop a style. My pan account is Sulton_tjk.

I've been trying find a 44A+B reset a la regular patroklos' 44B+K reset. I haven't been able to find one that works.

Speaking of 44A+B, if you cancel it at the last possible moment, alpha takes a huge step backwards and seems to be TC. I don't know if this is useful or not. There's a lot of recovery after cancel.

after sakura fury combo B+K, 62B, 66B+K why when i run up and throw quickly after is it considered a tech trap in training?

is that even possible? a standing throw tech trap?

Because you are getting them while they are still teching thus they can't block. However they can still duck it. However, throws being i17 shows that i17 moves in this situation will tech trap on hit eg run up 1BB.

Hm ok I just never saw it actually count it as a tech trap before. was getting like 190 dmg for half a bar haha

Thank you Syn King of Thy Double Twister.

I seem to recall nearly getting banned in 2011 for having a flane war with you.

Having said that, that was a weekly occurance for me then XD

LOL who hasnt got banned with these mods? anyways it happens!

Assholeish or not ive always liked you and appreciate the knowledge you drop and things you tell people in your brash ways. If they could not get offended and just listen the shit is actually really smart.

Anyways Im liking apat so ill be stopping in for knowledge daily!

Here's an example:
At a casuals session last night I baited out NM CE so I could stand and JG it rather than just step it and launch with Alpha.
This is not situational, its just messing about.
This is situational. JG gives meter and stepping does not. If the NM has very low health and he pops a CE, might as well JG and a:g:B punish for more meter than a sidestep into 33_99B.

Because obviously I'd risk that in a high stakes match. >_>

I wish people would stop trying to debate after missing the point, I feel like Christopher hitchens talking to a creationist or something, lol.

How come when people hit a low health opponent with a CH 214B, they dont just do 2B+K instead of 8A+B, B. JFT? Its easy but people just dont do it. If you mess up the JFT, you might lose. True, its not a very good example, but it works.

Because messing up there wont result in losing 200ish health garunteed.
Again, I said it was a bad example. Anyways, people practice UJG to the point where they don't fail it. Some people do the same with CEs. Why risk failing a UJG even though you can get it pretty much everytime?
