SCV may still need patches...

Very Raph like. Some of his verticals basically have no re-alignment at any time past the first frame of execution. If you couple that with a narrow hurtbox, then you'll have verticals "whiffing" for no good reason.

The video should focus on clear training-mode situations of whiffs (like at 2 minutes of the 2nd video).

Regarding how they might actually do any good:

There should be a community consensus to "demand" for a regular set of patches for fighting games, and they are one of the most important things to any lengthening of any fighting game's lifespan. Right now i have no clue what the free downloadable patch allowance is between psn/xbox live, but if it is asked enough, proper budgeting to alot of semi-annual patches for a couple of years can be accomodated to be part of the development plan of SC6 from the get-go.

One of the reasons I invest time in RTS or MOBA games is that I get the feeling the dev team is aware of the never ending requirement to adjust the game (for both bugs and balance reasons) by the numerous patches they release. Its impossible to catch all the bugs in the first few months

hopefully with SC2 coming back with spawn they might give SC5 more dlcs and possibly patches to fund for SC6

Why are my videos linked in this thread? There is already a thread for this in the Siegfried Soul Arena where I posted those.

I think Astaroth whiffs against little girls even worse than Siegfried does. And I just mean failing to connect with the smaller hitbox, I mean going right through them.
Oh I had a really bad one the other day, I whiffed through Nightmare when trying to whiff punish his CE with Astaroth's 22B, but I didn't have my recording software on at the time.

As long as they fix his BS Bullrush hitboxes too, ecspecially his charged version. (lawl getting nuked because someone stepped on his foot from behind, then eating 100+ Damage)

Theres not gonna be anymore patchs. Psn/xbl only allow 3 updates for free then after that it costs the developers tons of money. Which namco isnt going to pay for. They have moved on to future games now. Possibly sc6. Scv is sone and this is what we get. Accept it and move on. Or dont play scv.

Ah shoot... Well, at least Namco has something to learn from...

Exactly, this isnt what is going to get patched here, this is whats going to be prevented in the next game. It still proves of some use then to have a bunch of glitches shown so Namco doesnt mess up un that prospect again in the next title

I hope MS and Sony reverse that decision in the next gen. Sony's been going on about how the PS4 is designed with the "developer first". Well, they should show it. If we can't get essential balance and bug patches throughout the lifetime of the next SC (or any fighter for that matter) I'll be really pissed.

SCHB doesn't even have any re-alignement, even at the first frame hahaha. (same as SEB)

But to clarify something, all of those whiffs : 2A+B, 22B, SCHB, 4KK, etc (the only exception is 3B) were made purposely by Namco. It was a way to nerf the character. Those moves didn't have any whiff problem during the first versions of the demo.

People cried and complained like crazy about Siegfried before the release of the game. Here is the result.
This community should be proud of her !

It was just one of the ways to make Patroklos super cool.

Patching the shit out of games is not a solution. Just look at MK9 and Injustice.
