Things you DON'T wanna see in SC6

Gameplaywise I don't want meters, just guard and critical edges.
Designwise, I don't want atrocious ones like SC4 Ivy.
if we could avoid having 3 random characters at the same time, Tekken guests (Yoshimitsu doesn't count) and on-disc DLC, that'd be great too.

Just wanna elaborate after giving some thought.

I don't think for SC6 being an aggressive-style game is a mistake at all, if that's what the developers intended to do. I personally prefer to have a balance of both offence and defence, but whatever.
 
Lol, chill dude. Don't know why you take story nonsense so seriously.
While gameplay is considered the most important aspect of a...well, game, a good storyline is what helps bring the settings and characters together.
From what I saw, Tekken 7's gameplay looks really crisp and amazing and Harada really wants to flesh out the story mode since it is the end of the Mishima Saga. In this case, I can see how giving more attention to story without losing priority over gameplay is useful.

Exactly iceweb cause that shit is braindead af. I prefer paying meter for it since jging requires more brain than just GIing all day long
 
yea but then again JGs arent useful in every situation a GI mostly leaves you at an advantage unless the other one reGIs. And cmon GI wars is just stupid af
 
GI gives you a mix up when you perform them correctly. JG gives you mostly free damage or less often a mix up. JGs are useful in every situation where you would just block normally. It isn't a read.
 
i still think its the better alternative to having only GIs . In some situations all a JG does is prevent guard dmg. And its way more precise than GIs which is good. But yea i guess in some situations JG gives you too much of an advantage.
 
well not in general since GIs in 5 GI everything no matter if its a low or high or whatever character GIs dont.
 
In EVERY situation JG gives you massive frame advantage. Not sure why you are saying it only prevents guard damage. I am assuming you didnt play other SC games if you didn't like GI. GI in SCV covers highs/mids/lows and older GI covers throws/highs/mids or mids/lows. You have to place your GIs well. They aren't overpowered because of the fact that you can escape post-GI options. JG however, you cannot. And it is safe.
 
yea but the way they are in 5 having meter is completely fine. If you actually had to put in directions it be different. But thats just my opinion I´m not a fan of beign able to GI all day long.
And yea in many situations JGs give you a huge frame advantage and they need to figure that out for 6. I still like the idea of having JG in the game
 
I guess JGS shouldnt remove the hitstun completely though. And just decrease shield dmg and stun by a little bit.
 
Regarding the Yoshimitsu bullshit, at least he has a damn weapon. Wtf does devil jin have in common with everyone else?
