Things you DON'T wanna see in SC6

He doesn't, that is why its a good thing. Its called uniqueness.

It's kinda silly to go with fists against swords.

A guy with a shotgun one-shotting other fighters is unique too, but is it a good thing?

Devil Jin was made for Tekken, not Soulcalibur, he had nothing to do in it, except to lick Harada's boots.

Are you actually attempting to make a character with demonic powers seem weaker than blades? What excuse do you give for Yoshimitsu in Tekken, then? He had a sword while all others aren't using weapons. Not to mention that a skilled fighter doesn't need weapons even agains enemies wielding those.

Nah. It's not like i'm against DevilJin or anything. I just don't want StarWars all over again in future games. DJ is borderline fitting, but only because of demonic powers, his overall fighting style is out of place in SC. And fists not only vs swords, but against armor too. (not mentioning that balance-wise he is broken)
As for Yoshi - I dunno. I always thought "wtf is he doing here?". But his fighting style has minimum using of sword in tekken, so he is ok' I guess.

I've always thought that Yoshi and Kunimitsu having a weapons but barely using it was pretty pointless. But in T6 every other character has a weapon to use :) Also, there is a difference between Yoshi being in the main roster and Devil Jin being there just for the sake of being in Harada's good books. Tekken and Soulcalibur are really different, mixing them is just ridiculous.

Instead of creating characters and characters' outfits from other, PS should have focused on their own game.

No Time Travel endings no incest sub-plots. Bring the old writers back.
No Meters, it takes away from Soul Calibur's series own mechanics
No Super Moves, Attacks or Finishers (Again, not traditional SC mechanics)
No Single-Character Centered Storymodes
No Elemental Sub-Mechanics (No more off-series gimmicks)
No Non-bladed weapons or styles. (Viola or anyone new)
No E.IN. or other forms of projectiles.
Not a fan of Just Guard too much either over just basic guard.

FTFY and actually, they both existed back in Soul Blade. SCV is closer to the original compared to SCI-IV.

Viola uses an orb... And a claw, with blades ^^ She ain't pimp-slapping everyone around :D
Many styles in SCIII were good even though they didn't rely on blades (dual nunchakus, dual tambourine, fan, extendable staff, and maybe lance), so I'd rather say "non-armed styles" is better ^^
Also I assume they would not remove Maxi and Kilik. *thinks of SCV* Oh wait nevermind they would -_-

then play sc 2 if you dont like anything about 5 Kappa

Not exactly, the only thing I recall that is somewhat similar is the Critical edge combos, but they were just long combos, not Super moves. Though I assume they weren't needed the more the gameplay itself was expanded, where manual combos took over from the need for it. From that, I never thought SC needed those gimmicky features, because it separated itself from that direction along side with Tekken. SC was in the group with Virtual fighter, DOA and Rumble Roses to me, the more "realistic" fighting games which I prefer.

I don't follow that ultimative reasoning. Someone can only play an old installment for so long and liking a series, doesn't require a fan to advocate for things they don't like in them.

The claw is fine by me, not the orb.

I didn't think people would take what I meant that literally.
I'm quite the literal guy :D
It was indeed a long combo (many hits to do much damage) compared to SC CE (one to some hits to do much damage), it's quite the same, not really, but really close ^^
And personally, the orb is less problematic than sucessors' using exactly they predecessors' styles. But that's just me ^^

I'm late to this but what I dont want is;

-lack of singleplayer modes
-Clothing items in CaS that make the characters look bloated/fat as hell or hang way too loose
-VIOLA
-Bad netcode
-Anything related to Tekken (excluding Yoshi bc he's a cannon char. in SC)
-lack of the Museum

I'm sure theres more Im forgetting

A lot of the new characters would benefit from a soft weapon reboot if they are in any intended canon. (Though if we go by the popularity poles where most people don't like any of them, I'm perfectly content to ignoring the replacements).

Soft rebooting the weapons would be good. As I said, I do not hate the successors per se, but just because they are new skins of veterans. However, there still would be the problem with "characters deemed too old": I'd rather have Leixia being Xianghua's third cousin's brother's wife's step-niece's great aunt (twice removed) than sacrificing her mother (though I've never been a fan of Xianghua).
