One big gameplay gripe for many people including Angry Joe himself about SCV was that there was no incentive for being defensive, perhaps this is the solution!

Well, this is the final nail in the coffin for the argument "The newcomers in SCV are just fine, learn to adapt" that showed up when SCV came out. So I take it that it's an MK9 style retcon/reboot scenario. Interesting.

The directors have changed a lot, but a lot of the key talent has worked on most SC titles, and most of the directors were involved with earlier SC titles. I'm just curious who's working on this one. If it's mostly new people, then I think we can expect some big changes from other SC titles.
