No fucking way! Hype!Soul Calibur 6 PSX Trailer:
There will be no guest characters movesets & weapons just skin splited on parts wich you can add for any of your Cas or even original characters SC3 KOS-MOS is example. The guest characters movelists aren't usually available in CAS are they (probably mandated by the source company)? Plus allowing CAS characters in tournaments creates a whole other set of problems.
If I'm seeing it right, they were break attacks, or least if my theory is correct, "Soul Charge", attacks like that in the past would acquire different effects, be it a new hit, becoming unblockable or even become a guard break attack.Looks like the new RE mechanic functions like a focus attack of sorts. You can see it breaking at 0:35 and 1:16. It absorbs attacks of any height, but has a limit on how much damage it can absorb before bursting. There's also a new hyper mode, activated at 0:44 and 1:13, and of course supers at 0:48 and 1:18. All very interesting developments for the game, very different from SCV but obviously still having some sort of comeback mechanic (we don't know at this point if that's meter or rage).
Mitsurugi got replaced too. Though Paul St. Peter returns as the narrator. I wonder how many actually reprise their roles after all these years.Very sad that Sophitia has a different VA now, I feel like her SC4 one was iconic :(
WOW! More gameplay? Goddamn, I'm hype!Possibility to get more SC6 gameplay footages later? Hope so, i'm excited!!

If they're including music from SC4, maybe they'll include characters from SC4 too (like Talim, Setsuka, etc.)Sweet, Gigantesque is back.
Probably just them adding effects to the characters so much as sneezing. Same happened on the SC5 reveal. If you watch mitsurugi guarding Sophitia's 4AB string, mitsu glows orange a bit. Why is that ? This wasn't one of the fancy defensive mechanics, just a generic guard
