What platform are you guys getting this game?
I'm getting it on PC. Tekken 7 was amazing on PC and is declared the best version of the game. I would expect the same thing for SC6
Its between the PS4 or the PC version. If there is a Switch version, I'll probably consider getting that too.

I will definitely buy PS4 version, just because my 8 year old laptop is no different from toaster in terms of game-running. So it's not like I have much of a choice but to hope that it won't be Tekken7 Episode 2: Lag Strikes Twise.

Damn, this is one of the most beautiful stages in Soul Calibur! U think what stage will be next? Some castle, battleground, ship?

My answer to this, from another post:

Everything can bring bad ideas. I fail to see why its a good idea to bring characters exclusive to one port of the game and frustrate players who could want them, instead of bringing someone to be on all platforms and appease everyone. Besides, even from a tournament perspective this would be a bad idea, the characters would have to be banned since players wouldn't buy all platforms just to practice against them.

It has, actually. But nothing with extensive movesets (of course, that wouldn't be necessary considering that Spawn, the Star Wars characters and Ezio had lots of moves made for them), think about... pretty much anyone that uses a weapon in League of Legends, for example, I bet Riot Games wouldn't mind lending one of their characters, maybe they could even time that up with a crossover skin for those who bought the game.

I stand firmly at your side.

This is one of the main issues, actually. It would bring nothing but frustration and it could even potentially reduce the visibility of the guests, since they would end up banned in tournament play. Again, why not add a single character to appease everyone?

"Just a guest character" brings a lot of hype for every game, specially in some specific cases. You can bet, for example, that the TMNT are the most hyped DLC for Injustice 2. This should be done in a non-frustrating way.

Not only him, between Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne, we can have quite a long list of potential characters. Its not like we're out of options.

Interesting choices. William of Nioh is on my list. My other choices would be 2B of Nier Automata, a Samurai Shodown character, a Final Fantasy character or someone from the Tales of series.

HAH!

I'm still hoping for a fun mode you can play offline at least. We'll see.
I understand that his hairstyle was historical and all, but that made him look so goofy.
Honestly, that silly hairstyle was the only thing that even is remotely memorable about him at that.

If they've learned anything at this point in regards to content, it's that they should know that fans of the series really love and appreciate the strong single player content and various modes like Team Battle and such that past games had. They need to try and cram all that they can that was the better offerings of the series into this. Make character creation even more in-depth and expansive as well, ect.

I want to see something like Mitsurugi's stage:

And Siegfried's:

They both have so many elements, details, and that special vibe. Seeing them in the new version, with today's graphic probably will destroy me.

Best stage

This stage was way too ahead on its time!!

My all time SC favorite Stage is Hubris tho, the Sound theme is just OMG Kreyyygasm, and the atmosphere coming from is just F*cking mindblow.

I've a lot stages in SC that love tho, too many to name them all XD Basically all SC3 stages were all amazing as well, now thinking about it this game was basically one of the last Fighting Game that did have All/Full stages per characters, super impressive considering the amount of characters in this game. While everything was perfectly done. Too bad the game didn't sell super well (it really deserve huge sales imo). I really though Namco put a huge budget on that game, also just few months after SC3 release Namco fused to bandai if you see what i mean.
