Soul Calibur 6 Discussion

In terms of OST, since we've already heard a few remixes, I decided to go back and listen to the entire SC1 soundtrack, and boy are there a lot of gems. Not that anyone cares, but here's a list of the ones that I thought were the best/had comments incase anyone was interested in listening to what might be in the next game! I was pleasantly surprised that even though it's old, SC1's OST definitely has the same Calibur vibes and amazing qualities the newer games do. If you haven't yet, do yourself a favor and listen to the entire soundtrack!

Wait, Eye to Eye Blade to Blade is Mi-Na's theme!? What the... Is that even fitting o.O

Can I just say that I love the change of Critical Edges to being one button now? That was one of my biggest game design criticisms as I thought that was one of the biggest failures of SCV. You couldn't even properly capitalize on certain situations because the input could sometimes move you out of range for hitting your opponent with the yours due to it moving you around in an awkward way before doing it. So it just came off as this kinda cool but counter-intuitive tool.
Agree, i never liked Critical Edges in SCV.
Though a part of me wants the game asap, I really think that the later, the better. We've waited for 6 years, why not wait another year to have the best Soul game ever?
I don't want another incomplete game like SFV. I only hope and pray "please don't be trash like SFV", "please don't be trash like SCV", "please don't be trash like Tekken 7", "please be like SCII or SCIII".

Compared to Tekken 6. Tekken 6>Tekken 7, even Tekken 5 is better than Tekken 7.

I haven't played the single player much because that's not why I bought the game, but I'll gladly talk about its merits.

From what I can see, the story mode is cool. Bamco put a lot of effort into it and I'm glad it isn't that dogshit Tekken Force with loot drops from T6. Huge improvement imo.

The fighting feels good. Picking up Lili again after years, she still felt right and getting back into her moveset was a pleasant experience. It's the tightest and most responsive Tekken I have ever played and this extends to the online portion. (On pc.)

It took them a bit of work to iron it out, but the matchmaking is a huge improvement over previous games.

The rage system is surprisingly well executed, in spite of my initial concerns.

I don't like the lack of unique customization options for the characters, lack of proper P2 outfits, and the balance needs work. Y'all saw how many Jack players were in that tournament.

All in all, by no means a perfect game, but not "trash". In fact, the opposite.

How the story mode is "cool" in Tekken 7? What you have seen there "cool"? Story mode Tekken 7 is linear cinematic trash, you compleate it one time and forget it. Tekken Force is dogshit? Tekken Force mode is the reason why i still play Tekken 6.
Picking up Lili again after years
Lili's face in Tekken 7 looks like "I am men". lol. Character customization in Tekken 7 is worse than in Tekken 6. DLC guest characters instead of return old characters.

Lili looks like she has FAS in T7. That was a tough pill to swallow.

I'd take T7s linear cinematic story mode over the Falling-off-the-fuckin-thing simulator that was T6 force. It was so frustrating.

Don't talk shit about Lili.

How much times you have completed story mode in Tekken 7?

Not even once, but primarily out of lack of interest. Nor did I complete 6's because I hated it. For a game with no ring out mechanic, T6 did literally everything in its power to throw you off stages in single player.
