SoulCalibur VI: which 3 characters do you most hope for?

  • Hwang/Yunsung and/or Lizardman

I'm not. It was expected, yes, but I didn't hate most of the characters, only the roster as a whole. Also, some from II and III and no mention of IV means no Hilde, Algol or the bonus characters from that game. Also, the parent newcomer is not Kilik's parent, its the rival's parent.
 
I'm a little worried that the lack of mention of characters from SC4 means that Hilde won't get added. That'd be a shame. I wasn't that attached to her moveset but she had easily my favorite aesthetic in the series, being the only armor-clad woman to be introduced.
If she doesn't make the cut, hopefully a new female character will replace her as an armor-wearing warrior lady. Maybe Salia?

From where the "20 character roster" is coming from? Because if it is true, fuck that, Namco fucked up immensely, I think it is the smallest roster since SC I

The demo showed a select screen with 20 slots, so people got pissed. Apparently it is not final, so we can expect more.

At roughly 3:20 he says it. In Spanish, but set Closed Captioning to English and it becomes clear. Apparently MeriStation is a news outlet that was there at the event and heard this stuff, I assume.
 
He said about 20, he also said he was not sure if that was a final number. I wouldn't say it is confirmed that there are 20 characters

I'm spanish so yeah, characters from SCII and SCIII(less from this one it seems) are confirmed.
He also talk about how the triangle system in RE works and how the team is focused in SCII when it comes to characters moveset.
I'm pleased with all I heard.
So this is how it goes...
Most characters from SC plus some from SCII and a few from SCIII.
My guess is, everyone from SC minus Hwang and Rock, Talim, Raph, Yun and Cassy from SCII, Zas and Tira from SCIII(already leaked) and maybe Sets too I hope.

Vergeben just mentioned the number of character slots in the demo build aren't final and that we should expect just a bit more characters than SCV but nowhere over 30 in the roster. That would be basically all the characters from SC1, and then eight or nine more slots reserved for some characters from later titles + new characters.
