- Game can still have Koreans, personally i'm expecting at least one Korean character.
- Raphael and Hilde are very likely. The others... who knows.

- Amy not sure she'll make it (still have chances tho), Tira and Talim because they are unique and staple to the serie.
- I'm fine with that, but sure having even more stages would be welcome.
- No one said there's gonna be only 2 new characters. And personally i think there maybe a third female character.
Game was announced just one month ago, and we didn't even see 5% of its contents, and some people are already disappointed, i mean WTF seriously!!

You know what - I can live with the knowing that SC veterans like Hwang, Rock, Seong Mi-na or Cassandra won't return if they give us fresh new characters like they did in Tekken 7 ( 8 new characters is a lot, even 9 with Elize ). But Zasalamel and Hilde must be in :P

Blegh, having a bunch of the original cast vanished and then frankensteined into "new" characters was one of my biggest frustrations with Tekken 7.

Yeah especially since the new characters has nothing to do nor relation with Old characters except Master Raven with Raven. It wasn't frustrating to me but Old Characters are better than the new ones. Josie is empty and has 0 personality compare to Badass Bruce, i fail to catch what this character is about, Gigas is... fine, but Marduk was way sicker. But i do like Katarina and Claudio tho (those weren't replacement as well and were 100% new characters). I still have a little preference for Raven over Master Raven, but Master Raven is an awesome character.

The only new Tekken character that I liked is Katarina. She is basically there to replace Christie and I'm fine with it because Christie was just a carbon copy clone of Eddy. Katarina is unique with a new style and hot which is always great.
I'd hate for Cassandra to be replaced as she has a completely different personality and playstyle to Sophitia. She has never been a clone since her inception where it would have been fine if she was. If people want more differences to accept her in the roster all you have to do is give her some Patroklos' moves and change the animations on a couple moves.
I also want to credit the Soul team as it could be easy to just copy paste characters like Cassandra, but they don't do that and they actually make them unique.

Because it is a completely different fighting style, designed for a male character. That has nothing in common with cas or sophi aside from the fact that it is sword and shield.

Cassandra is meant to be a bit rough and on the tomboy side so there should be no problem with some moves that aren't very feminine. The only issue I see is with the way he holds his weapon, that means they'd have to change some animations a bit but I think it's doable.

Tbh pats moves would fit sophi more. Cas is more like the silly greek, when it comes to animations and overall moveset.

I know there is nothing wrong with her having a fun personality. I'm just saying that her moveset isn't silly and Patty's moves would suit her well and be a great way to make her even more different to Sophitia, for those who would have a problem with another S&S user on the roster.

I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree instead of further disrupting this thread. I can easily see her incorporating some of his moves and you can't. It is what it is.
