Wow, can't believe we didn't notice that earlier.TSLPrescott on r/Soulcalibur just discovered something pretty crazy.
When you Soul Charge, it stops the timer for the duration of the SC.
Aside from Project Soul going silent, the constant false hype made the wait for SC6 agonizing for some.Stop building up false hype.
Stop building up false hype.
I just can't believe we have to wait until the event us casual fighting gamers probably dread (I blame the FGC for the lack of single-player content) to get more news.

Some of us noticed it and talked about it but it just got buried under the bullshit in the original SC6 discussion thread.Wow, can't believe we didn't notice that earlier.
I'd like to know this myself. If you're a casual player, why dread an offline event? What is there to hate about it?
Well that's unfortunate lol. Some of us noticed it and talked about it but it just got buried under the bullshit in the original SC6 discussion thread.
More news for SoulCalibur VI will come very soon, so chill out guys. It won't be that long l0l
I'd like to know this myself.
Clearly you're Namco's president !I can definitively say that more news will in fact be revealed at some point in the future between now and the game's release.
But this is Namco we are talking about :PI can definitively say that more news will in fact be revealed at some point in the future between now and the game's release.
We are just waiting a game since 6 years, I guess?? It's okay to feel disappointed when nothing new comes out.The problem is that people don't have actual lives. They conjure up new ways to be disappointed every day, and it's all based on speculation that might as well have been pulled out of thin air.
They've been more than happy to use Famitsu before though, which is why it's a bit disconcerting. For me it's weird to announce something at a tournament, rather than announce before the tournament to build hype and then use the tournament as a free showcase. I also think using the tournament as an announcement could cut off casual fans - take this with a grain of salt because I could be a lone wolf on this - because despite its large presence within the tournament community and gaming forums like this worldwide (people who are most probably going to get the game regardless), I don't know if it will reach the ears of new / casual players. I know that I definitely had never even heard of EVO before speculation about SCVI picked up here within the last year.I think they are not being sting, they want to make it a big deal, EVO is a world wide known tournament, which is better than a magazine circulated inside of Japan. I think this is actually a smart move.
