Oh, what if he was like SoulCalibur III, and with equipment destruction, it modifies his moveset? Fully armor broken Charade just being the floating orb with lasers, top broken would only be able to do kicks, bottom broken would only be able to do weapon attacks, middle broken would take extra damage from attacks (like Will o' the Wisp from SoulCalibur III would). That would be super neat.
His biography classifies him as a male.

11 characters have been confirmed, and with this it would give us a total of 18 characters so far. Base roster is at LEAST 20 given slots, but will probably be more. So this means that if we get the bare minimum, there are only 2 characters left to be revealed that we don't know.
Also @Vergeben lmk if I missed any of your leaked characters lol

I'm assuming there's going to be more slots. Random could also be a button like triangle if they're really pressed for space. I mean at the end of the day the character select screen isn't gonna stop them from having however many characters they wanted to add lol
Also, I feel like since we're going back to the beginning, Cervantes has to be in for story reasons right? He was the climax of both Sophie and Taki's original plot.

Pretty weird that they classify it as male when it just seems clearly genderless.
And he's integral to Ivy's plot too. I'd be really surprised, and disappointed, if he isn't in the main roster.

Wait sorry Is it thought that Tira is going to be in the game based on the stages that are in? If that "unconfirmed confirmed" thing is right I'd be okay with that even though I'd have liked to have seen Setsuka and Amy etc.

Tira was basically confirmed if not already rumored/leaked when Zasalamel was confirmed. Tira's role in the story is quite large, and they've said they're putting a big focus on the story mode, so story relevance is a pretty big factor when it comes to which characters are included, perhaps only second to the Facebook popularity poll. But Zasalamel's inclusion opened the window for SoulCalibur III characters to be included, so Tira is practically a shoe-in. We don't have anything to indicate SoulCalibur IV as of yet, so Hilde, Algol, and Dampierre would be far less likely inclusions.
Setsuka, on the other hand, has little to no real story relevance, but she's got a unique style and has a lot of fans, so it's thought that she may very well not make the base roster, but instead be a post-launch DLC character. But Vergeben has also leaked that Tira would be in, though has not leaked that Setsuka will be in, as more fuel to the fire. Amy is a grey area, as if Raphael is included, she may be shyed away as a clone, though because it's a reboot, they might maybe rewrite her story and make her Viola from the start, that certainly is not impossible. She may even have some sort of hybrid rapier / spell orb in Soul Charge thing going on, who knows? But she may also be doomed to post-launch DLC, since she's not exactly important to the story either. Only time will tell.
