Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Doubt it. E3 is in less than 2 weeks. Assuming it's going to be a bigger trailer than just mere character reveals, they'll probably have us wait until then with no news whatsoever. Kind of like what happened with the January reveal. We had to wait more than a month, but we got humongous 4 character trailer and a new built.

Here's hoping! Even if it IS 'just characters' that's fine by me (but I would much prefer something extra).

I have this awful feeling that they won't do ANYTHING new at E3 but surely I'm just pessimistic right? They wouldn't actually do that to us.......... would they?

My guess is they'll have an E3 trailer with a couple of new character entries, a brand new playable build but will probably also give us a full feature update on what's going to be in the final packaging. I'm guessing we'll some some iterative "story trailer" that'll iterate on what's been revealed so far as well as new story developments and character reveals as well as a brand new character in addition to some more existing roster. THey'll also have some kind of gameplay trailer that reveals all the extra features included in the game (CAS, guest character(s), story mode and online play).

Undoubtedly, we should see Maxi, Talim, Astaroth and Tira very soon. As well as any new playable characters.
 
What are the chances that Maxi and Voldo won't be in the game? I'm starting to get worried now...

Do you think Maxi is similar to Lei in terms of stances? Lei never made it to Tekken 7...

Maxi and Voldo will make it. and no Maxi isnt

They're both confirmed by @Vergeben, so they'll definitely be in the game.

My hope as far as characters is definitely Voldo. I'd love to see Setsuka, but i doubt they'd reveal DLC characters this early.
 
I want there to be a character reveal tomorrow, a more comprehensive trailer with story/CaS/more reveals at E3, and a release date, but I’d be cool if they didn’t show anything this week and just info dumped at E3.
 
Lei isn't in Tekken because nobody used him. People actually pick Maxi and Voldo. If Namco hated stance characters they wouldn't have put in characters like Eddy or Hwoarang for T7.
