Ugh you people. You get a repeat date and a story trailer and the day's not over with. He'll the week isn't. Plus you know they gotta stretch things out till September at the very least to keep the hype going. ....Ugh!

On a happier note, for you Euros who aren't able to get the at book, I'm sure I'll have an extra couple lying around as I plan to definitely buy more than one copy of the CE

But well, I'm happy because it was a great day for Soul Calibur fans.
Even when my favorite characters are not confirmed... yet. There is still room for surprises. Let's hope.

I didn't even see the story trailer until they showed it at the panel so I'm happy.

Now I have to go back to work.
 
Anyway today was still filled with great news for SC6 so It's fine, Release date, Story trailer, 3 teased characters and model improvements so I'm happy. Definitely cannot be disappointed with that, Today brought.it
My weave might have reached Venus with a Talim reveal but after all this news today it definitely still reached Mars.
( And yeah If Thursday is likely then that's great. )
 
Let's count our blessings one last time:

  1. Story mode showing PoVs for each character.
  2. Beautiful stages.
  3. More slots on character select screen. Was hoping for more stages since we lost one because of random select.
  4. Soft confirms of Astaroth, Cervantes, Lizardman, Talim, and Inferno.
  5. CaS items likely building from IV-V looking at young Siegfried's hair. Makes me think that the costumes are all part of CaS.
  6. Release date

Imagine if the 3 dlc characters are the Korean trio.

but seriously though, Hilde, Amy, and a guest. Calling it now. Viola's the exclusive bonus.
 
Ideally Hwang, Hilde, Viola and #4 May Auto Unlock Inferno. Otherwise could be another guest.

Anyways Geralt was for GDC, Story Mode for E3, and that would mean CaS is for Comic-Con?

Look at the timeline though, what are those red dots on top?

If the fourth character is only obtained by buying the SP and can't be bought individually, nobody is ever allowed to say Capcom or anybody else is greedier than Bamco again.

The part where they stress it is a bonus character most likely means it is just a re-skin a la SCIV, most likely some story exclusive over-glorified CaS
 
Maybe with Injustice or now Smash, we could be getting a Premium Skin/Echo?

Also why no Yoshi or Zas in that vid?

Now we know it takes place over a time frame to explain Talim or Tira or whoever.
 
I'm guessing (and hoping) that the 'Bonus Character' is either Edgemaster or Inferno. I really want a mimic and those are my two favorites.

But I don't think people would feel too cheated if they couldn't play as them.
