Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I still hope Seong Mi-na will be playable, one way or another... she was in the game since the beginning, her style isn't the same as Kilik's, she always played completely different to me and I love the naginata, it's such an elegant and deadly weapon. Making a CaS with staff just doesn't do her justice. She's the character I played since Soul Blade in every game, maybe not the best competitive choice but we only have the devs to blame for that.

What bothers me is the triple sword-and-shields. To be fair Lizzy’s looks bigger.

Lizzy could be an NPC too and any of the s&s or Salia besides Sophie could be Raph (of which will allow Viola to be DLC)

Xianghua got one of Hwang’s weapons in II I think... let’s hope Kilik can get a bladed weapon so we could at least recreate Mi-Na.
 
Raphael gone seems so strange, but maybe he can be like Lei Wulong where he is more legendary in death than life. What army should I join now? Sieg? Ivy? Cervantes?

I have had the Witcher stage song stuck in my head all day.

I think it's interesting everyone is figuring the DLC to be returning characters. I was of the impression it would be a returning character relevant to the story for the bonus, and 3 DLC as guests.

Okubo already pretty much said Geralt will not be the only guest, so how is that possible?

I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt. But no Raph is INSANE, especially if that stupid Lizard is in and he's not.

I really hope they will prioritize unteased characters when it comes to upcoming reveals. For example, they've teased Cervantes, Astaroth and Lizardman in the Story Trailer. So I would rather the next reveals NOT be them. I'd rather have surprise characters than just confirmation of something they've already kinda hinted at.

To think that they could potentially replace a character with a new one who has the same fighting style after witnessing the backlash that SCV received is just baffling.
