Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Gonna be brutally honest here. Not going to point at specific names, but if I have to look at one more damn post about CaS whining, presenting it as if it's the most vital part of the game that's worth throwing an immature hissy fit over, I think I won't visit this site for a while. God, it's irritating. CaS is a fine feature and all, but if that's the only reason you're playing this series and if you frame it as a legitimate issue to the game that will cause it to be oh so much worse, you're playing the wrong series and your opinion is wrong. This series is focused more on gameplay and the core characters than your precious created characters and you need to learn that the developers work with these priorities in mind. There's so much more to these games than your trivialisation of them with CaS that the fact it's your only concern and all you whine about is silly and disrespectful to the game you are harping over. Get a grip.
Anyway, the biggest problem is this Raphael news. WTF at him potentially not being in the game? Ridiculous decision.

CaS is important also if people want to play just with cas thats okay too stop telling people what to do with their money

All of these are characters damn near HAVE to/pretty much gaurunteed to be there...whether DLC or not, theyll be there.

As it would be without consequence for (hard)core players, I don't see the problem to be benevolent with newcomers.

No, it was confirmed after SCVI was announced. Read the 2nd to last line saying

"We feel that character creation is an attraction that cannot be removed from the series. We cannot say anymore, but please look forward to it."

I thought the same thing, there's no edition for PC that contains the artbook, I tweeted Okubo about it and I got no answer, I guess because all I tweeted him about so far was about Setsuka and he doesn't want to see anything about that subject because she is not going to be in the main roster most probably.

Honestly I'm sad, 2 games without my character, they also removed Zafina from tekken 7 wich was also my main, to release 1 guest character every 6 months, bandai-namco politics to put characters in and out are getting on my nerves... All we will have is the same roster as in SC1, 20 years after the game got released for the first time on dreamcast, they're not even adding that many moves for the characters in3 years of development, most of what they're doing is just copy paste moves from other games and merging other moves to convert them in new strings, and RE is awfull... Sorry for the negativity I needed to complain somewhere to release this burden...

Relax, Setsuka might be DLC. We have nothing to worry about.

Still pisses me off that she and many others will be DLC characters, as if they weren't veterans of the series they're treating them like some new characters or something. There will be a lot of places were you go in events and that stuff that they won't have the DLC characters in the games, at least in Spain, were the community is almost non existent...

Yeah it really sucks that iconic characters will be DLC, but at the same time that's why they make them DLC, because they know that people will buy them. I hope Setsuka makes it into the base roster too.

But at the end of the day, it's much better than the alternative, being SC5's route of no DLC lol I remember when people thought maybe SC5 would get DLC like Talim, Zas and Yun who didn't have replacements, and then 6 years went by :| so yeah it sucks but it could always be worse.

That's not the point he's trying to make. The kind of whining he's talking about really has no place here - even an admin didn't want to see it.

The CaS aspect of the franchise continues to be the best customization experience in the industry, yet for whatever reason, we have some awfully entitled individuals demanding far more than they have any business doing.

I'm with him, I'm absolutely tired of seeing it, even from just one guy - And I'm a *huge* fan of CaS.
