Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I may have gotten a new Razer Panthera stick for real cheap or may be out money and ready to attack Amazon. Wish me luck.

I also hear the T7Chicken guys that did the frame data app for T7 are looking for tech help for SCVI. Hope a good mobile app can be developed for SCVI fans worldwide.

I was watching all characters trailers, and Zasalamel's was easily one of my favorite, reasons:

- We didn't see him since a while.
- Back with a very fresh new look.
- Has a tons of new stuffs.
- His CE is super original, and it even surpass some of the best CA in 2D games.

But something weird in the last build is that his skin is less black and more white, which is weird, dunno what's up with that.

Beside i haven't seen yet his 8+b+k yet (not sure about the command but i think that's it), did someone catch that move in one of the footages?

What does the move do?

There's no good reason to toss in single player content in a situation like that. Generally if they're doing a beta, it's to test netplay, and people fuffing around with single player stuff doesn't really help there.
Are you aware that those preset characters in Dark Souls 1 are the same preset characters that were in the original beta? I wouldn't say that mode was tossed in, more of a case it was there while things were being finished. Dark Souls is more than just a simple port, the assets from DS1 were ported over to the DS3 engine hence the different lighting and bigger pool of online players at same time. The game was very much at an unfinished state otherwise players wouldn't have been told not to go to those late game areas.

I think the default brightness was too high on the new build is all. Everyone was paler and lighter it caused lots of detail lost from shadows and stuff faces seemed flatter and other such brightness oddities.

I've mistaken it's actually 8+a+b

Here's the move @3:25

Yeah maybe that's the light, but i dunno he seemed too white in the demo anyway. Zasa is a black dude and looks sicker as black, dunno seeing him white is like seeing Sophie black or Taki as Blong which can be a little bit too weird imo

Wait did he just that PC will have the best input lag, so in other words we'll get a laggy game on ps4 at launch just like we did with T7? Oh crap, tell me i hear it wrong please...

Yeah, I wish OMEGA was at E3 to show us what Zas can do as we've seen very little! I mainly want to know if he can juggle with that move where he quickly spins like a wheel in the air.

Yes, however if the input delay is the same as the fix that was implemented in Tekken 7 then this will be minimal lag, like 1-2 frames. PC has the advantage of turing off v-sync to gain those extra frames but to tell you the truth unless you're one of the top pros you're not going to notice the frame delay on PS4.

1 frame difference is a bit tolerable, but T7 input lag was day and night at launch between PC and PS4 version. (without even counting on how netcode was a disaster on PS4 as well)
