Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I don't think we'll get all the characters revealed before launch. Usually they keep quiet about a few characters as an extra suprised. So don't expect every character to get a trailer before the launch of the game, but... expect a few more. Especially with CEO being this weekend and Gamescom coming soon.
The ones I wouldn't expect to get trailers for would be the bottom row, the three who don't get story modes side stories if we're believing the 20/23 count.

Now I had a dream. It was of Lizzy fighting Mitsurugi. Lizzy was covered in gold to the extent it was dripping off him, much like Smaug from the Hobbit.
He looked awesome.

I guess we are 13 minutes shy of 7 hours from the confirmation if the dream was prophetic or not. :)

I had a SC6 dream before SC6 were cool [/hipster]

It was about a big arena that was mostly bare, but the focus were a Raph vs Cassandra using loads of new moves, then there was a Talim vs Raph, and then I checked out some pseudo open world walking fighter from 3rd person playing as Cervantes, I remember using that dash of his to slide over parts of the "map", was something of that Tekken mode, you know the one...

So Okubo said that ps4 pro and Xbox x will have 4k. So we can hope SC6 (unlike T7) can manage to hit native 1080p on PS4.

I dreamt that the next fighter was a fat Asian woman who would fight using dumpling and spicy peanuts. Hopefully that won't happen.

They talked about Mitsu and Sophie being first developed so I'd imagine they design them all either one by one or in small batches of 2 or 3.

How comes there's been no wikileaks on the remaining roster? Surely there would be one person in the company willing to lose his job to get the truth out? Successfully keeping this game under wraps for 3 years sounds like a conspiracy... :D

Most people aren't dumb enough to risk their job giving company secrets that everyone will know in a few months.

Big leaks like that kill much of the fun anyway, what's the point of following the development of a game where you already know all the details? There's no announcements to get excited about when you already know everything.

Well we already have our beloved UK character reveal since a while. So maybe they'll go with her father reveal x)

But I'm feeling it more for Asta since his stage was already reveal.

I seen this as Maxi stage not Cervy's lol

Btw wonder what are the 2 left stages. Wonder if one of them will be Valentine's mansion.

But you can clearly see what appears to be The Adrian in the background, so I'd say he shares it with Cervantes. And I thought we already determined that the other two stages are Kunpaetku Shrine and Astral Chaos, the two areas we've seen in the story trailer and places otherwise not playable. Assuming they don't add more stage slots, anyway. It's the lack of slots that makes Maxi and Cervantes sharing a stage a reasonable conclusion to draw in the first place.

I'm sure Ivy's stage is Ostrheinsburg Castle: Hall of the Chosen and 2 remaining stages: Palgaea/Kunpaetku Shrine (Astaroth & Lizardman) and Chaos (Inferno).
I hope I'm wrong and have more stages, because Tekken 7 has 20 stages in console version + 2 DLC (Geese & Noctis's stage), so 22 stages in total.

Cervantes's stage (shared with Maxi) was shown first. Looooong time ago.
What the indian port? Since when has that been Cervy's stage?

Not every ship you see is the Adrian, it can very much belong to Maxi or some random pirate.
