Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I'm going to be sitting on the internet seconds before the time, incessantly smashing my keyboard in order to catch a glimpse of this potential reveal. Well, I do this every Thursday, but today I have a feeling I'll end up with a higher capacity of urine in my pants than usual.

The new screenshots of Cervantes make me believe more than ever that he's the reveal later on today.

It's also nice to finally get that Sophitia vs. Rothion image in high resolution.

I think you mean kanji
I guess it's a language differences issue. Where I live, any logographic character of any origin is referred to as a hieroglyph. I see it appears not to be the case in English. Surprising, but I'll take a note.

Hieroglyph refers only to the old Egyptian writing system :)

I'm curious about where you live, it's quite surprising :D

That name below Sophitia is 100% without a doubt Tira
IMO the only mystery is who the name below Grøh is. The rest are pretty clearly Cervantes, Lizardman, Astaroth, Tira, Voldo, and Talim.

I'd say it's Rock, but... I really doubt it's Rock. It might be Hwang? But I dunno... seems like Yun-seong should be in for Talim.

Ukraine. But I'm pretty sure it's the same in most Slavic countries. You can check up Ukrainian, Belorussian or Russian Wikipedia pages for Kanji, they all call Kanji hieroglyphs right away in their opening sentences.
