E3: Soul Chronicle, New build with playable Geralt
Gamescom: Libra of Souls, Character Creation
TGS: probably whatever the other "Coming Soon" mode listed on their website

Big gaming media events aren't for character reveals, they're for feature reveals. Even the Tira reveal was a Season Pass feature reveal that they fucked up the messaging on.

There is no returning character that would be a big enough deal to hold for a games press event. The characters themselves appeal to too niche of an audience. Cause even when we get a reveal it mostly appeals to Soulcalibur fans who play those characters, so it's a subset of a subset of audience. It would be drown out by more important news from other games at the event.

So we'll get a trailer for TGS. It may be a trailer for a new mode. It may be a trailer for an overall features summary of the game. Maybe a gameplay trailer from all the events over the months. Maybe be an intro trailer. And it may contain new characters like Raphael and Cervantes, but it won't be their reveal trailer. That's best left for outside of the event.

And maybe we'll get that build. Wouldn't hold my breath, but maybe.

a guest would be big enough

but if they have gameplay of a DLC character a month before release it could send the wrong idea and if all they have is concept it wouldn't wow the crowds enough. best case scenario is if they had another guest the most we would get is a teaser and how well that would go over all depends on who it is.
 
Can I just say HBTW is amazing imo. It feels like he is really bringing people into the series. As much as some people may hate me for this, dynasty is informing more people of the game, even if he does use a lot of clickbait. Here we all are fans, but it feels kind of isolated outside y'know? It'd be nice to see soul caliber 6 becoming really popular. Meh I'm just in a sentimental mood

Ok, pretend for a second you're PS, someone on the team or head of operations, i dont know doesnt matter. Characters have recently leaked. The roster has leaked a long time ago and you know its treated as credible because of Azwel and also because well, you just haven't revealed anyone yet that shuts down the leak.... for whatever reason.

Now for the sake of argument lets pretend the original leak is not accurate and you have several other characters available to reveal because i'm assuming that is what you are saying right? The majority of people dont think so, and the leak is damaging right? Ok so why are you not revealing anything that is NOT on that leak? Isn't that the first thing you do to salvage the situation and maintain hype for the game? At least after the Cervantes and Raphael debacle, just revealing one character that people aren't expecting will effectively handle the situation. So... why aren't they doing it?

Because if they reveal everything they have now, how are they going to generate hype during the last month?

We’d see cards for other characters... Looks like that’s it unless they’re teasing.

To be fair we should’ve seen Inferno too.
