Well, she was always intended for the launch roster. There's a difference. You're at a point in development where you're locking things down, and you look at Tira on your board. And much like most of us, they're thinking "well what do we do with her Gloomy/Jolly stances in this game system?". And they know they want a day 1 dlc cause they do it all the time, so they look at the calendar and say "eh, we'll just figure it out later." And then they can nail down the last of her move property tweaks after most other characters are wrapped. It's like getting an extension on an essay assignment.

Hopefully the two story modes will be enjoyable. But still the lack of Zas and Yoshi could be a good sign. Just a bit of a shame...

I actually like that fembot i just you know... dont care for icecream pizza.
I happened to rewatch an interview from a while back with Okubo talking to someone, maybe IGN or whoever i dont remember. The discussion was about Geralt and he said that selection was made for a popular character that was an appropriate fit for Soulcalibur universe or something like that.
So who knows, maybe they dont like the idea of that fembot either. At least maybe not until later.

Well there hasnt been any sort of official release of Raphael or Cervantes artwork right? Just the recordings of video. So i dont see how that could be fan-made.
Has the PC version not gone gold?

People took photos of the Cervantes and Raphael artwork on the character select screen. It would take some work to clean it up, but it's doable.

I know nothing about card suits aside from their basis in the Minor Arcana, and yet I'm not picking up anything too interesting about the characters and their card suits aside from the fact that Xianghua is the only female ace and Talim is the only female jack.
