Tbh I don't see Talim becoming any more story relevant in SCVI than she was in previous games.

Yeah, even though she makes sense as an opposition for Azwel. Instead is looking like the seemingly unlikeable Groh will be heavily shoved down our throats in a Mary Sue fashion just like Potrokolos (whom he has more than a passing resemblance to, especially in his 2Player colors) thus causing us to dislike Groh in a similar fashion.

I do wonder if they will need to announce additional DLC or at least give clues before release. If they do show DLC, it will probably come with a WIP disclaimer.

Well in terms of generating hype, i dont think they have a lot of options at this point.

If they are saving them for TGS then definitely. Usually when there is a leak they release an official reveal not too long after. Them waiting so long to officially reveal Cervy and Raph makes me believe that they are the last ones of the base roster.

No, i've the characters i wanted (except Setsuka but it was obvious she would be DLC) but i still can't accept... :(
Still need Cassandra or Lizardman or a Korean at least, otherwise many will be disappointed, and i'll be disappointed too for them.

Nothing was proven or disproven today. Even if the next reveal at TGS is just Raphael and Cervantes, nothing is impossible until the game is released. But as has been pointed out, we haven't actually had a Thursday reveal in quite some time. So that we didn't get one doesn't in and of itself have any weight.
