See, you say "obvious," but both online and arcade modes are things that developers screw up all the time. That and training mode. I'd love some confirmation that any of these modes are going to be more than bare-bones.

Keep in mind that they've apparently forgotten to include an option to change buttons on the character select screen. (Maybe this will change in the final version, but it isn't in the E3 build.) "Obvious" stuff is important, dammit.

Quick battle (which is very similar to Treasure Battle) was in Broken Destiny and SC5 so I could see that being the final singleplayer mode.

Of all major things they can skimp on, I am okay with stages and outfits. They can always add those later much more easily than other things anyways.

agreed everyone is going crazy about stages and costumes like they are the most important thing ... I am sure if the game sells we will get both of those things as DLC

Team Ninja has a bigger problem with same face symdrome than Project Soul though I'll give credit where credit is due their Nioh character models are great.

Hasn't Okubo stated that there won't be a guest in the first season pass as that's not something they're planning right now, but there could be a guest in the future if they make a second season pass.. Also the possibility of SCIV/SCV characters too.

KI characters would be cool but no PS4 so that's a no from me.

Judging from Kayane's recent interview with Okubo, I don't think they've even fully decided who the other dlc characters are yet. They'll have the second character decided no doubt but it sounded like they were still considering who's most popular and and were in talks for a second guest but hadn't confirmed anything.

If they haven't decided who the characters are yet, then that means we aren't going to be playing the characters until next summer. Obviously they know exactly who's gonna be DLC and might even be nearly done with them, they're just not saying so because they don't want to seem like they're already working on them (which they are).

We didn't even get the full DLC packages for SoulCalibur V, the 1p/2p costumes and other miscellaneous parts, that they planned to release, so having faith in DLC post-launch beyond what they've told us we're getting in the Season Pass isn't reasonable. We're most likely going to get the costume parts, most if not all, of the non-guest DLC characters, but it would be a stretch to say we'll get new stages as well. If we were, they would for sure advertise that as something we get from the Season Pass.

Well you know what? If SC really is at a crisis, this might be their best move. They could do something like this and use the profits towards a season 2 and get everyone's missing waifus in that way. With the alternative being putting out Cassandra, Setsuka and Hilde out first, not getting the money and thus no approval for a season 2 at all, or even another future SC for that matter. Which is better?

Dont think this was at all blackhardt's original point but still. With all the talk of supporting the series, lets let them do what they have to in order to hit their goals i say. One of the major annoying issues with guests was them being unavailable for CAS and that is no longer an issue if i'm not mistaken. As long as the guest fits,

(by that i mean PS could have developed the character and no one would question it or find it odd)

This should be in already in game, if there is a P2 DLC and we have to pay for it, that will be really disappointing cus SC 6 should be an improvement of SC 5 content wise, gameplay wise and roster wise, there should be no way that in any of this aspects the game decline in what it offers. as far i have seen the game is oke roster wise (if we get 23 base roster characters ), it does lack stages compared to previous SC games like Soul Edge which has 13 stages, hopefully we get more. As for the gameplay it seems fun and refreshing seeing all the new mechanics and gimmicks that each character has been given in order to improve the game.
With all this been said i know that SC is not in a great spot right now, and this game will maybe decide if SC 6 continues in to SC 7, i will bite the bullet this time and support the game but i do want to see more in SC 7 if the game is successful.

Hope they chose wisely on the DLC characters. I highly doubt that this game will get a second season pass. SoulCalibur never did release a lot of stuff from DLC.

I'm not sheep who take everything they give me! Fu ck DLC fu ck cutting contet off the game! I know gameplay is what matters, but look how other games like SF5 and Tekken 7 have alt costumes, packs of stages and music, they do feel "acceptable" in the terms of package. SC3 is one of my best SC games cause it had awesome alt outifts, you could choose a weapon, no fu ckin guest characters replace original cast, evry char had their own stage, museum, weapon katas! Fu ck it was in 2005! I want some quantity and quality in fighting games, especially these days. I am more picky after SC5 disaster, sorry

Well, I think people understand but they are still upset. I'd sacrifice CaS in favor of costumes, but I know a lot of people wouldn't.

I just want this game to sell a lot and Namco Bandai to be more caring of the franchise.
