[10] Knight
Azwell is basically Necrid with probably more exclusive moves. Yes, his movelist is for the most part taken from everybody elses....

He uses Geralt's hilt in to flamethrower move (I think its 6BB? idk) and he had Siegfried's 6A+B (the up and down vertical Siegfried juggles with at the beginning of his trailer). His air catch/power bomb move is basically Astaroths but he holds the opponent differently. EVEN his sidestep in RE is Yoshi's lol. If you look you can find more...have any examples of a duplicated move?
Do you think his style will be used in CaS?
I hope it's not another Algol situation but the idea of him being the big bad of libra seems like it won't be something you can do and the fact his "weapon" is those bracer things then it would conflict with things like gauntlets wouldn't it?
None of Azwel's things are coming out of his body, so it shouldn't have the same problem as Algol. But I can see it 50/50 that Azwel is/isn't CaSable. But @AMillionHP I see Azwel as a hybridization of Algol, Viola, and Necrid, not that he's stealing moves, but using various styles simultaneously and interchangeably, with Viola bringing the telekinetic angle, but he's not able to set the weapons, and then there's the whole Soul Edge & Soul Calibur summoning element from Algol. It's a combination of parts of styles without having everything of these styles either to make it his own unique style.
well you could color edit ZWEI's stand from what i remember... could you do the same for algols swords? I never actually even tried the customization for him.Well the apparent story is everything is available, so i assume he is. Although i would expect he isn't *immediately* available and requires completing Libra.
I'll bet he doesnt have several weapon variants as i imagine six different large weapons would be A LOT of extra work. I'll be more than satisfied if we can color edit the red and blue weapons and think its unreasonable to expect anything beyond that.

Wasn't it already explained that Azwel is neither of those things? Mimics don't have their own moveset and just copy the entire movesets of the other characters on the roster, with the chosen moveset switching from match to match. Clones are characters whose movesets or fighting styles closely resemble another character on the roster in some way. Or they're even just characters with the same weapon.I was wonderin why everyone was so excited for Azzy when everybody HATED mimics and clones so much. I guess most didn't realize? Eh....pretty typical...
On a more important note, where's Cassandra? This game better not launch with 20 damn characters.
Roster hasn't been that been that small since literal SoulCalibur lol....
Did I miss something regarding this?It really seems like it'll be 23+Tira at launch, 22 if you're not counting Inferno. Cassandra is likely to be DLC if she's in, which also seems likely.
Because he is neither. Using telekinesis =/= being a copy of Viola (by that logic anyone using any kind of sword in the roster is a clone), using multiple weapons at once =/= being Necrid clone (he had a mish-mash moveset where he used EXACT moves of other characters by forming the EXACT weapons they used), mimic = a character that doesn't have their own moveset and instead switches between rounds between already existing movesets of other characters in the roster - doesn't sound like Azwel in the slightest, Algol - formed weapons out of his own body (instead of summoning them), had COMPLETELY different moveset.I was wonderin why everyone was so excited for Azzy when everybody HATED mimics and clones so much
On which part? 22 characters is coming from the museum mode in the latest trailer showing 149 weapons total, which would be enough for 21 characters to have 7 weapons and then 2 weapons left over, which would likely be the weapons for Geralt. Inferno gained some credibility chance since Ivy was shown to have Soul Edge, listed as the last weapon, which is where the mimic weapon would go, if we're using SoulCalibur V's template. Ivy has never had Soul Edge on her own, the only time was Soul Edge (Complete) in SoulCalibur II, but that doesn't count, because every character, good, evil, and inbetween, had one of those. So if the mimic weapon is Soul Edge, it follows that Inferno would be included. Cassandra being DLC comes from the leak where Cassandra has voice lines but isn't playable, and is a high request and thus profitable character, which would make a lot of sense to be who they'd want to be DLC.Did I miss something regarding this?It really seems like it'll be 23+Tira at launch, 22 if you're not counting Inferno.
