Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I don't understand the "adding to favourites makes them available in other modes" thing. Are they implying custom characters can't just automatically be used in other modes, or that only a select few can? :S

With the 20 characters thing I definitely think now that the 4 slots on the select screen are unlockables and the middle slot might be DLC category or something. I doubt Inferno is the only unlockable character somehow. Would be kinda weird.

I'm probably wrong, and hope only brings disappointment, but if I'm not wrong then maybe there's hope for more base game character reveals at TGS or in the coming weeks.

EDIT: I'm a fucking idiot. If they're unlocks, they're not gonna reveal who they are before the game's out...

Seems Geralt Story is more than 15 minutes, if all characters stories are more than 15 minutes that would be really great (even too good tbh).
 
With the various rates that people are going at with just the TGS build, you'd think someone would have unlocked extra characters other than Inferno by now.
 
So I don't really understand Sophitia's weapon selection. It looks like she's got a new weapon, which is neat, but why is her final weapon Blue Crystal Rod?
It would only make 1000% more sense if it was Orichalcum. Fire Blade is also interestingly missing.

And people should stop being so Frayhua about certainty. Lizardman with axe is in the game, in some capacity. No one knows if CaS only or bonus character or not unlockable or anything, until we have proof one way or the other.

I'm hoping you get to unlock more weapons later. I enjoyed the huge weapon selection Lost Swords had, they could easily take from there.

this is just the base game, i think you can unlock more weapons if you play story mode or libra of soul, tbh i dont think they would just give us 7 weapons for each and just leave it at that.
