Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but, in History of the Warrior’s look into Libra of Souls, he always able to progress far enough to run into Grøh as well as some other Aval Organization grunts. It seems like Grøh’s costume might actually be standard uniform for Aval agents, eyepatch and all.

Any image that is not from the game itself should be placed under a spoiler tag with a description to properly explain to people what it is they will be viewing. While some work places may be perfectly acceptable of the Seong Mi-na picture (and others may not find it NSFW at all) there are other work places (and people) that definitely would not be okay with that type of image so I think warning people of a potential issue is more than acceptable as it still allows the image to be posted but but gives people a warning so that they don't open it and potentially find themselves unable to play the game because they lost their job due to "porn".
 
Uh oh... that's a good question... did anyone actually read the EULAs?

I caught Section 12, F of the first one and thought of one of our more unique community members. Guess who I was thinking of:

"If you impede or disrupt the Game or the normal flow of gameplay or dialogue or use vulgar language, abusiveness, excessive shouting (e.g., ALL CAPS), spamming, or any other detrimental methods that disturb other users of the Game;"
 
The countdown continues:
I'm going to my game shop this afternoon to pre-order (just the base game now that I know I can buy the Season Pass separately anyway) and by the time I get home, the Beta should be live! Assuming it's not locked from recording or anything, I'll be recording a ton of gameplay in bulk for my channel and I'll share here!

I'm pretty nervous-cited though. On the one hand I'm overjoyed to try the game and play all the characters but on the other I feel like I won't actually GET to try the characters because the other players will wreck me to the point I can't move or do anything :/ I have a bad feeling this experience will be ruined by things like that. I have horrible SCIV memories of just never being able to get off the ground and stuff. Made me never want to play SC (or any fighting game) online again. I despise my retarded brain sometimes :( Still... I just can't resist SC...
 
The network test if anyone bothered to read the terms of service is interesting to say the least...especially article 9. Now this might only be the usual tos that Bandai Namco uses for most of its games but it also might be specific to this game.

a. Bandai Namco may offer you the ability to: (i) purchase a limited license to use in-game currency (purchased game currency, to virtual goods and services made available by Bandai Namco in the Game (virtual items). If Bandai Namco offers the ability to purchase or earn such licenses, Bandai Namco shall grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited right and license to use such game currency or virtual applications as applicable for your personal , non-commercial use exclusively in the Game, subject to the terms of this Agreement and your compliance therewith.
b. Game Currency may only be redeemed for use in the game and neither game currency nor virtual items are redeemable for money, any thing of monetary value, or for any monetary equivalent from Bandai Namco or any other person or entity, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Game currency and virtual items do not have an equivalent value in real currency and do not act as a substitute for real currency. Neither Bandai Namco nor any other person or entity has any obligation to exchange Game Currency or Virtual Items for anything of value, including, but not limited to, real currency. You acknowledge and agree that bandai namco may engage in actions that may impact the in-game attributes or perceived value of game currency and/or virtual items at any time, except as prohibited by applicable law. Bandai Namco, in its sole discretion, may impose limits on the amount of game currency that may be purchased, earned, or redeemed.
c. All purchases of purchased game currency are final and not refundable, trasferable or exchangeable under any circumstances, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Except for the purchase price of purchased game currency and certain virtual items. Bandai Namco does not charge any fees for the access, use, or non-use of game currency or virtual items.

Nah this is just your ussual bamco manbo jambo, also they did comfirmed there would be only DLC and no microtransactions so its oke i guess.
 
Weirdly, I'll actaully kind of miss all this random chatter and speculation on the general discussion. It's basically the highlight of my day because my life is boring. Other than creating my thousandth (not an exaggeration) character on CaS. I eel like that might die down after SC6

Personally I wish everyone would shut up about roster speculation and CaS, I'm fine with waiting to see what we have in the final game, and I'm perfectly OK with DLC as it gives Bamco flexibility in ensuring the game makes money, making a SC VII more likely.
But then I remember half of you are half my age, so meh.

I'm fine with everything you said, except that I kinda like reading the chats and stuff. I like the DLC as it is and i want SCVII just as much as you do. Age shouldn't have anything to do with anything, we're all fans here. .Just clearing up.

So, about the cross platform with sony, i hope that happens, i need more people on xbox lol.
 
I find it odd to read that so many people mentioning SCVII.

It's like : "Okay guys, SC was half dead after V, with VI it's slowly recovering: be kind and smile at it even if it still looks bad, so it will be in great shape for VII".

I love SC, but I'm a customer, not a nurse. I don't buy for "support". Good or bad, I hope SCVI will get the reaction it deserves (and I hope it deserves a great success, but you know what hope brings...).
