Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

how is your netcode experience so far?
t7 got some issues on consoles as far as i know, as a pc guy i had no such struggle but i wonder how sc compares to it at this point?

The lag cleared up for me for the most part, had only like 1 match where it was really bad.

But man, I love this game. NM is a BEAST, played like 10 games and I haven't lost one with him.
Can you give me some tips on how to get people off of you? Can find any moves that work well as a keep out and I end up relying on GI or RE

about my meeting with Talims in ranked match:

My girlfriend and I are taking turns playing on X-Box One. ID is LilPuppyLuv. I've been trying every character at least once from 7. Been winning more than expected... well me, not my girlfriend anyway...

In terms of buffing/nerfing, I don't feel I have the skill to comment fairly, but I do I feel Talim is ridiculously fast and difficult to deal with at the moment, but then that's kind of her thing.

However, despite getting wrecked by a Talim earlier, I just had this interesting set in which I play Sophitia against probably a better Talim than the one I faced earlier. It looked like slaughter but somehow I pulled out a comeback and whilst not very graceful I was really proud that I stuck with it, didn't give up and managed to get the win.

Holy crap, Talim. Maybe this is me speaking prematurely but she feels so much better compared to previous games. She feels so much faster and fluid, and definitely more viable. Some of the new properties on her moves really enhance her playstyle.

Talim's Wind Fury definitely needs a bit of rebalancing due to it dealing more damage than even her CE, and that's without meter and not even on counter hit. She is in a better spot now than she ever has been, however, and I hope they won't destroy her completely before release and with patches.

It's been half a day, calm down. Basing buffs/nerfs on a few hours of mostly button mashing is a little silly.

Ivy looks really strong at tournaments for example but she's not great to mash with.

I've always felt the way the announcer says 6 is a bit weird. He says it a little bit too quickly compared to him drawing out SoulCalibur more.
