Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Unpopular opinion: Yun-seong and Hwang can both appear, but one should have two daos. You may think it’d be another Cervantes, but this would be a dual-wielding style more grounded in reality rather than teleportation and flying.

If it's visuals people are hung up on, what if Yun just adopts a Khopesh for all the time he seems to spend in Egypt?

I guess two Daos instead of one is more immediately distinct, though.

Thing is, Leixia already got a Khopesh in SoulCalibur V, which looks like may be in SoulCalibur VI, despite not appearing in Xianghua's weapon list:

I’m thinking about upgrading to a GTX 1080 Ti, even though I only have a 1080p display for now...

Maybe I will upgrade my display later...

I wonder how good SCVI will look with it...
Waaaaaay overboard. My 1070 needs a single lowered setting to get 1080/60 with no drops in T7, and SCVI is less graphically intense.
It might be just me, but I feel like they were trying to hide the character select screen, especially with Tira available.
Every fighting game these days has a text or simple character select before Ranked Matches to save on loading times.
Except that Project Soul has stated numerous times esports is not the focus with SC6 and is basically a bonus, so I think it is absolutely unusual to expect a Fox-only Final Destination ranked mode that alienates non pro players. Online isn't even a proper pro training tool to begin with due to microscopic latency at best.
Remember when Sakurai went into detail on why Smash can't be competitive and then proceeded to make an online mode that did exactly what competitive players wanted?

It does strike me as rather bizarre that we're a mere six days away and we still don't know where Tira or Inferno go on the select screen.

Why does a Dothraki arakh-looking thing have to be on some dainty dance-y looking style?
Hwang always got the desert stages too.

The Silk Road Ruin stages are said to take place in China though. Yun's are out-and-out Egyptian.

Ah. So that's that. I suspect Inferno will go center then, and that the remaining three are the season pass characters.

What a silly thing to do, Bamco.
Pretty big jump to conclusion, it’s still very possible that there are unlocks, even if Inferno is center.
