Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Glad to see baby on the pre-order page on PSN :)

My one worry is what does the words "bonus character" mean if we get a second season pass. Will that mean we get 3 characters next time? I mean how would it be bonus if that's the norm

Except Yun-seong isn't relevant to Talim until SoulCalibur III, and SoulCalibur VI is only covering up to the start of SoulCalibur II. Hwang makes more sense.

But he becomes relevant to Seong Mi-na in II. And considering Talim of all people is in the base game, why couldn't Yun-seong be in the game as well?

I'm pretty sure by "bonus" they mean that her cost individually isn't included in the cost of the season pass.

I.e. let's say each character is like 6 dollars and the armor packs are also 6 dollars, for 3 characters and 2 armor packs that's a total of 40 bucks, the cost of the pass. Tira would be 6 dollars individually but she is free with the pass. So if you buy the pass you're spending 40 dollars instead of the 46 you would spend to buy each thing individually.

That could be totally wrong but it makes the most sense to me since you can buy her individually. Which means I'm guessing future passes will work the same way, if there are more.

I think/hope your right. I keep looking at the character select screen and I can't really see a good way for them to add only 3 next time without having the count uneven on one side

But then Yun-seong only sets out on his quest because he wants to be like Hwang, who he idolizes, and he takes Hwang's place on the roster because Hwang returns to the coast guard after the events of SoulCalibur, so again, Hwang is more important for this story, right now, and Yun-seong comes after. It's not impossible that Yun-seong makes it in, I'm not saying that, it's just that Hwang comes first in sequence is all.
