as far as i remember perfect GI was in SC3 and it was represented with a red glow instead of the green glow and the only way to counter this was with a perfect GI as well, this is gona open some new shit and in the battle system but we will see.

New mechanics are intriguing. A way to possibly GI unblockables/Breaks would bring a solution (though not the best) to the forced block guard break scenario that exists in the game. I just hate the guard gauge system as it's implemented as a whole though, but that's just me.

The fact Tira was in Soul Charge for that GI makes me worried this might be some soul charge exclusive buff to GIs, which I hope not. She could have been in it just for the combo afterwards for video flare, but ya never know. Could also be a perfect GI, as has been mentioned.

Based on what Mitsu was doing, seems you can temp-activate soul charge to use one move, possibly. Or possibly, you can now choose to activate soul charge with an attack instead of a burst, which would turn it from an defensive-offensive mechanic to pure offensive.

Judging by the colours.
No.1 Hwang
No.2 is the guest from Samsho
No.3 Viola??? More likely Hilde. I can't think of how to associate purple.
No.4 Setsuka for cold colours like snow?

Perhaps the colours don't matter though.
 
Ain't been here for a long time. I hope I am not too late to be part of the Cassandra hype gang! Okay, it is official: Soul Calibur 6 is next on my list of games to buy! Before it was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (which I was able to play for the first time last month).

But just one thing I wanna see out of Season 2...
Give me my Tiger Lily Gauntlets, goddammit! (I always wanted to say that.)

i was thinking that the background could indicate something but i dont think that it does the guest character has Soul edge as a background but it really doesnt make sense to give him a Soul Edge background. but the colors of the background could mean something as mentioned and speculated in this thread.

I actually considered the guest character an intentional exception, but I do wonder if the colours mean anything.
