You forgot to mention Algol, a big, manly, sometimes-practically-naked dude whom Mitsurugi dreamt of fighting for 17 years. Mitsu seems pretty interested in Edge Master, too...

Voldo and Mitsurugi ARE gay.
Voldo is canon gay since Soul Edge and Mitsurugi is the typical psycho muscle meathead.
Mitsu even wears the bracelets that the gays show. Very stereotypical.

I think it's also what they want to do, if they started working on S2 characters before Cassandra reveal it maybe possible all characters would be release by March/April. February seems a bit too early tho i think

As a filthy casual I am not good enough to enter these events, but I have dutifully supported the game on multiple platforms and bought the DLC....

well we have no info about it yet, other than that EVO Japan 2020 is the first stop of it. I actually did enroll into EVO Japan 2020 for SCVI but I'm not so sure if I can actually make it

New characters are not happening until we get through the veteran characters. Durer is also not a candidate for being a character, he's just an extensive background npc.
