Whew! You're right! Hilde didn't, but Haohmaru indeed had 9/10. Such a strange way to present what should be either: 10&11 or 10+11
 
Another interesting aspect of her new design, Setsuka has several black streaks on her hair. This pretty much confirmed that her original hair colour in SCIII is dyed as she tried to fit in with the Japanese by dying her hair black.

I've already seen one of the changes for Yoshi and that's his 6A+G grab doing a LH, so I'm really curious what I can follow up with because his Soul Siphon/Possession is pretty much redundant in this game which you only ever use by accident. Personally I would remove those grabs from that command and put them as command grabs after Back Hand. I would make aB the command for Back Hand, matching Yoshi's Manji Carve Fist but that was recently taken up by the new season 2 move Side Blow but I have a solution for this. With aB as Back Hand, the commands after that would be Soul Siphon (4A), Soul Possession (6A) with Side Blow (A) as the mid tech crouch mixup between the high grabs. Make Soul Siphon and Soul Possession purely Soul Meter moves (so no health drain) will make all these moves complementary to one another based around Soul Meter draining.
 
Back from work at 10:45, finally got through the new pages of info and watched the trailer approximately 4 times by 12:17.

Ecstatic for Setsuka of course. I especially love the “flowers-on-black” in her parasol and footwear, probably my favorite pattern under classic checkers/houndstooth. Love what looks like her master’s keepsake yukata worn as a shawl; definitely here for the classic-stance return. Although I'm interested in what directions the team took with her new moves, I’m still a bit of a pussy and don’t desire another unattractive amount of JFs, unless they’ve been widened or something like what happened to Amy.

Speaking of other characters, it’s pretty guaranteed that Setsuka will have a color scheme in red with black hair, accented in blue and yellow. However, with that ending warning reminding watchers that the story scenes were purely cinematic, what I DON’T think is guaranteed is a non-parasol’d iai.

Hopefully they gave me some Lili sh*t with this promise of Tekken costumes, hair included. The shape and texture of the long, untied hair they keep giving us in SC STILL does not do anything for me.

Allegedly, I can finally NOT HAVE MY GORGEOUS THREADS BROKEN BY SOME BITCH WITH A WHIP IN 15 SECONDS OR LESS.

Setsuka is GORGEOUS! That’s definitely her best costume according to me.
However, am I the only one being tired of these « basic » stages? I mean, big square, big circle etc. And it looks like Haomaru’s... i don’t see why they didn't add cherry blossom trees ON the stage (or maybe they didn’t show them...?). The SC3 stage during her fight with Mitsu would have been perfect..

There are cherry blossom trees and petals falling on the stage. It's in the trailer around the 1:13 time stamp.
Also, the stage isn't technically part of the DLC. It's available for free regardless if you purchased the DLC or not. So imo it's justifiable for it to be rather "simple".
 
More interesting stuff from the trailer. The Shugen Kokonoe CaS we see at the beginning of the trailer is shown wearing Setsuka's haori/cape-thingy.

In terms of gameplay, perhaps this confirms that the haori/cape-thingy is unisex equipment for CaS? In terms of story, maybe she took it off her master in her Soul Chronicle after he died?

Guys do not assume everything from the trailer is gona be in game till we see it in actual game, i have been seeing some people pointing out that the weapon of that dude has no unbrella attached to it, so they assume we are getting a weapon with no unbrella but the dude in the trailer might have been specially made for that trailer only. I do hope for you that there is that option for you but till the DLC is out keep this in mind.
 
Wow, what a bliss to wake up to!

Here's some things I noticed from the trailer:
  • Setsuka does not seem to have a background emblem in her art unlike everyone else. Just some random-looking clouds.
  • Style is more tame, even with longer panties underneath her pleated split skirt.
  • Rejuvenated face is not in line with her usual, very adult cup size Kappa
  • Her fingernails have a shine to them that I hadn't noticed on other characters. Is this new?
  • Default stance (unfortunately) doesn't seem to be her SCIV stance anymore. I liked that one better but I get why they would change it for CAS purposes. It looks a little bit different from her more hunched-over SC3 stance, though.
  • Shugen wears same Haori, so unisex?
  • Shugen wields an unseen sword (suposedly without umbrella), so maybe some people's wishes for Alpha Pat CAS will come true.
  • CE looks fitting and not too monotonous. Does anyone recognize the mythology behind the finish pose background image?
  • No sign yet of annoying gimmicky extras à la roses and glowing arms. Hope it stays like that. After her soul attack, a glowing bracelet is visible on her right hand.

  • We have not seen her SC animation yet, unlike all other trailers.
  • No sign of 214 or 236 yet.
  • That RE animation will definitely result in her eating Mitsu's katana full force lol

  • In the end of the trailer, I don't recognize the skeleton's move. It is Ivy's moveset but a new move? Nope, sorry, that's just Azwel's moveset.
  • "Discover newly coordinated looks" made me wonder if more CAS items will be compatible with each other, but it might as well just be a translation thing. Has anyone noticed formerly incompatible creation parts?
  • Lizard has a new head piece (?)
  • Bamco tweets about two stages being added. Is this just Bamco being Bamco not knowing their own stuff again?

If we do get to play as Shugen Kokonoe, I have a feeling his Iaido moveset will be a stripped down version of Setsuka's Parasol. I don't think we will get it as a optional weapon, but nothing is impossible and I'm sure with enough feedback Project Soul might put it in just for those that want it.
