CALI REGIONALS!! GET HYPE!! aftermath

Yay hate. I'm not even going to jump in because I have no right, not having touched the game vs someone with a pulse in about a month and a half.

I didn't play Saturday but it was good to see everyone, even cooler to see how everyone played. There were definitely some intense showdowns... I'm sure there were even more in Singles. Props to everyone for running the brackets; we gotta feel proud that even though our brackets might not have been nearly as big, at least we got done before the sun came up ;)

I actually had two of my cousins along with me to check out the festivities. They'd never been to a competitive event ever, so the hype slapped them silly and left me with some good laughs. Thanks for all of that, guys :D
 
IIRC at shenrei's Alex and Cedric went one-for-one in terms of wins when I was watching them. So yes, Alex knows how to deal with a good Hilde, even without Bubbles.

norcal, some of yall are cool, but cosby is a bitch. rude ass motherfucker barges into my room when i opened it without saying anything to me. i let it slide cause the room wanted to play but learn some fucking manners. wont let it go next time, scrub.

Jeeze, chill dude. We asked about electrionic brackets because it's EASIER for people (aka you in this case) running the tourny. But hey, if you guys wanna keep it old skool and write everything down... w/e.

wc turnout was 30-40 and NEC was around 100.
BUT! EVO consists of over 90% west coasters, thats a fact
no more than a dozen or two east coasters travel out west
Unlucky for you dumb asses i know EVERYONE in the capcom scene
 
Had a great time especially for my first tourny, wish i got more matches in. This really got me to step up with Cervantes despite getting knocked out in the second round, but its all good, looking foward to getting in the scene

sorry sanford in this case i dont give a fuck what you might be good at, id put money on cedric vs you hilde vs any other unbanned character and you would be the luckiest man on earth to win a match. you might think youre all tight at calibur right now but lets be realistic the sc2 world champion (the best sc to date) couldnt do it and i know you couldn't for a fact.

exactly, i dont know how people think theyre gonna be "thug" by thinking it will be ok if they keep sticking up for such bullshit but they should think twice about what they think is alright and should maybe say something more so namco can get it right with the next game.
