8WayRun Fanfiction: The Writer's Block

So to target my friendlier audience, should I put up "Y & T's Unpredicting Love Wager"? It was the first ff I've ever written and I'd like for everyone to read it!

Hey guys! Umm, well I just wrote this as a beggining of the end for mt Viola story. It's nothing special and I didn't bother yet to proofread or describe the location very well yet. I just wanted to get it out to you guys to read. Oh and I don't know how to use spoilers so I'll just post it anyways. It's kinda long.

Her friends, Patroklos, Pyyrah, and Zwei, had already entered the portal. Viola was unsure if this was the right thing to do. They had defeated Soul Calibur finally, after a gruesome battle. One of her dearest friends….. had lost her life in the endeavor. Salia was her name. Poor, poor girl. She had put up a good fight, but was no match for the rage of Soul Calibur combined with the power of the Azure Night.
When they’re battle had ended, a huge beautiful light beam that looked like an aurora shot down from the sky a few meters from where she stands.
They had debated whether to enter or not and finally decided to enter, but Viola had her doubts. She did not want to enter. She sensed an evil aura emitting from it. But in the end, she had to enter for her friend’s sake.
Viola!
Strange. Had someone called her name? No matter. She had to go through the portal before it closed.
“Viola! No!”
She was sure she heard someone’s name.
“No! Viola! Don’t go in the portal! Don’t do it!”
Siegfried! She thought instantly.
“Siegfried! Thank goodness you’re here. Why shoul-“
She was cut off as she felt a force pushing her towards the portal, which eventually sucked her in.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey! Wake up. We’ve been waiting for 5 minutes already.
She heard Zwei’s voice and followed his command. When she awoke, she saw the most beautiful place ever. She was in Heaven. There were beautiful monuments everywhere, clouds floating not far away from them, and an alter in the middle of the clearing. Everything was just so blissful!
“It’s, it’s beautiful!” Pyyrah exclaimed. “The alter looks very Greek to me. I wonder what it’s for.”
The alter had steps leading up to it. Not so many, maybe 5. It had a cloth on it and an Iaitō blade in the middle.
Just then, a silhouette appeared at the foot of the alter, floating?
“My dearest children…. Come to me!”
The silhouette became visable. It was a women with long blonde hair tied up in a braid. She wore a very revealing outfit.
“M-mother?” Patroklos finally stammered.
“Yes my dear. Now, come to me. Bothe of you.” She said with a smile that could’ve been either sincere or sinister.
Patroklos and Pyyrah both went running up the stairs to reach their mother at the top. Zwei and Viola both stayed where they were. They felt a little awkward at this family reunion.
“Mother, I can’t believe it’s you!” Pyyrah exclaimed.
“Yes my child, it is I, Sophitia.” Sophitia said.
Sophitia grabbed Patroklos chin with two fingers lovingly and said to him, “My son, you were destined for great things!”
The way she had said were had made Viola uneasy.
“But sadly, you have gone down the wrong path.”
By this point, Viola heard a hint of malfestation in Sophitia’s voice. When she looked at Patroklos she saw the dismay and sadness in his clear blue eyes.
“You have been killing innocent people. That deed makes you as tainted as a malfested. The malfested in the world must all perish.”
“But mother, what do you me-“
“SILENCE CHILD!” Sophitia screamed.
“Do not worry poor Patroklos. I love you and would never do anything not to help this world.”
Viola looked at Sophitia with fear. This woman was demented. A psychopath. Crazy. Then, Viola’s eyes saw Sophitia’s hand move to the blade silently and unnoticeably with everyone’s eyes on her.
Viola then realized what was going to happen.
“PATROKLOS!” She screamed, but her efforst were futile. She was too far away from the alter. Patroklos couldn’t hear her. So she ran towards them.
PATROKLOS
“This worl-“ Patroklos began.
Patroklo’s eyes widened. He tried to breath but strangly, he couldn’t. That was when the pain kicked in.
VIOLA
Viola could’nt believe what she had just saw. Sophitia had used the blade to shove it through Patroklos’s neck. She seriously just drove a sword through his neck. Patroklos’s blood splattered everywhere. It even got on Sophitia and Pyyrah. Patroklos’s neck convulsed and he threw up blood all over Sophitia’s arm, which was still holding the blade in Patroklos’s neck. Sophitia had a sick grin on her face.
Viola stared. She was going to throw up. But before she could, Sophitia finished the job.
“My son….. you shall suffer no more.” And with that, Sophitia slowly pulled the blade out of his neck and quickly sliced his chest. She let Patroklos fall down the stairs, dead, without a word.

Interesting. Your writing have improved ninja. There's more details then there was before and Elysium did seem rather ominous as she talked to Patroklos. Just one question, if Elysium killed Pat that way, whose body is she going to use now? After all, Soul Calibur is useless without a wielder or body to posses.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who kills them. :)
Yup! Pyyrah dies too.... :}

Really? I didn't touch it up or anything! Thank you, though. :) You're awesome. You'll find out soon enough....

Revised, added stuff, detailed, more info.

The desolated wasteland was empty. The wind was whistling ominously. Her friends, Patroklos, Pyyrah, and Zwei, had already entered the portal. Viola was unsure if this was the right thing to do.

They had defeated Soul Calibur finally, after a gruesome battle. Their mercenary group, Schwarzwind, had fought against Soul Edge and Soul Calibur defiantly. Graf Dumas, Nightmare incognito, had planned all of this unbeknownst to Schwarzwind. He had lured Patroklos into helping him by making him think he was killing the malfested. The towns became angered with Patroklos and tried to persecute him. Zwei, Viola’s secret lover and best friend, had recruited him when he had nowhere else to go. Pyyrah was Viola’s other best friend. She had been used by the malfested with the ring blade, Tira, who in turn was being used by Nightmare.

Viola, Zwei and Pyyrah had joined Schwarzwind when Hilde, Siegfrieds wife, had rescued them from Patroklos when he was on witch hunts. They were very kind to them. They even made friends. One of her dearest friends….. had lost her life in the endeavor. Salia was her name. Poor, poor girl. She had put up a good fight, but was no match for the rage of Soul Calibur combined with the power of the Azure Night. She valiantly saved Pyyrah from Nightmare’s wrath and Soul Calibur’s majestic dominance, while losing her life in the process.

When their battle had ended, a huge beautiful light beam that looked like an aurora shot down from the sky a few meters from where Viola stands. It landed on the holy blade, Soul Calibur. Soul Calibur was impaled in the ground a few yards from Nightmare’s broken body. When Zwei had figured that Nightmare was Dumas, his anger combined with Viola’s potency he was no match for them.

They had debated whether to enter or not and finally decided to enter, but Viola had her doubts. She did not want to enter. She sensed an evil aura emitting from it. But in the end, she had to enter for her friend’s sake.

Siegfried! She thought instantaneously.

“Siegfried, thank goodness you’re here! Why should-“

She was cut off as a force pushed her into the light and she fell unconscious.

Hey!

The floor was silver and a beautiful shade of it at that. The sky was a clear blue, a blue that the perfect day would have.

The silhouette became visible. It was a women with long blonde hair tied up in a braid. She wore a very revealing outfit. She had a see-through short top on and wore straps under so her breasts were not visible. She had a short skirt and you could see her panties.

“M-mother?” Patroklos finally stammered.

“Yes my dear. Now, come to me, both of you.” She said with a smile that could’ve been either sincere or sinister.

Patroklos and Pyyrah both ran to the stairs to reach their mother at the top.

“But sadly, you have gone down the wrong path.”

By this point, Viola heard a hint of malfestation in Sophitia’s voice. When she looked at Patroklos she saw the dismay and sadness in his clear blue eyes. He seemed genuinely disappointed his mother was not proud.

“You have been killing innocent people. That deed makes you as tainted as a malfested. The malfested in the world must all perish.”

“But mother, what do you me-“

“SILENCE CHILD!” Sophitia screamed.

“Do not worry, poor Patroklos,” She said in a loving and soothing voice, “I love you and would never do anything not to help this world.”

Viola looked at Sophitia with fear. This woman was demented. A psychopath. Crazy. Then, Viola’s eyes saw Sophitia’s hand move to the blade silently and unnoticeable with everyone’s eyes on her.

Viola then realized what was going to happen.

“PATROKLOS!” She screamed, but her efforts were futile. She was too far away from the alter. Patroklos couldn’t hear her. So she ran towards them.

“This worl-“ Patroklos had begun.

Viola was running top speed when she had to stop because her legs wouldn’t force themselves closer to a mother who would do this to her child.
Viola couldn’t believe what she saw.
Sophitia had grabbed the blade, and shoved it through Patroklos’s neck. She seriously just drove a sword through his neck. His blood splattered everywhere.

More of his blood splattered everywhere.
She let Patroklos fall down the stairs, dead, without a word.

Next Part!

“Don’t worry Pyyrah…” Sophitia said with a smile.
“You’re next.”
Before Pyyrah could move, the blood-stained blade had been impaled into her stomach. Pyyrah screamed in agony for a good three seconds. Before she could scream anymore, Sophitia grabbed her head and swiftly snapped her neck, causing her to die instantly.
“See? That wasn’t so bad, was it?” She had held on to Pyyrah’s face and looked intently at it.
“You were so beautiful…” Sophitia kissed Pyyrah forehead and let her fall down the steps, to join Patroklos but as she fell, she held on to the blade making it come out as Pyyrah fell.
This place isn’t beautiful, or blissful. Thought Viola, Not anymore.
“Now, you malfested scum, prepare to die.” She declared with a stern look.
Before either of them could move, the so called, “Heaven” crumbled to pieces. There was a bright flash, and everything was destroyed. The clouds darkened, the statues broken into pieces and the alter a shade of fresh red blood.
Sophitia disappeared and re-appeared behind Zwei before he could summon Ein and grabbed him by the hair. She then slammed his face into the ground with terrifying force and a sickening snap.
“Zwei!” She screamed.
“Zwei!” She yelled again, this time while she ran to his side.
Sophitia backed off.
She touched his once beautiful face, now almost unrecognizable because of all the blood over it.
Viola feared. In spite of her fear, she screamed,
“You bitch! I hate your fucking guts! I’m going to kill you with my bare hands you bastard!”
She had never been so afraid and angry in her life. In fact she didn’t even know the past 17 years of her life. Wait a minute….. 17 years? She remembered something. A….A…..Amy? Was there someone named Amy in her past? No matter. This bitch was going down.
“Ah, it seems you’ve gained some of your memory back….. Amy!” Sophitia said with a malfested tone.
“Wait… my name is Vio..” She caught her breath. She had given herself the name Viola. Maybe she really was named Amy.
“Just…. Who, are you?” She inquired.
“I am the Spirit Sword, Soul Calibur. I am no one. I am everything. And you, my dear Amy, are just a pawn.” Soul Calibur stated.
“Tell me…” She said in a quiet voice. “Tell me NOW!”
“All right then. I shall. But instead, I’ll just show you.” It said with a smirk.
Then Viola’s eyes closed. When they opened, she saw a man. French, blonde hair, red eyes and a malfested. In his hands he had… Soul Calibur? Why would he have that? Then she felt something in her hand. She brought it up to her eyes and saw a rapier. Somehow, this triggered another memory.
She was in her bedroom. How she knew that she didn’t know. But she heard the man calling her name. Wait, no. He was calling to a girl named Amy. She was Viola, not Amy. Right?
This memory faded and then came a new.
The man, again, was saying something. She couldn’t hear. She was hiding behind a wall so he wouldn’t see her. The man had Soul Calibur in his hand and two maids were behind him. They seemed a little afraid.
“Yes.” She heard one say firmly.
“I….. realize…… why…… I’m….. here…..” Are the words she caught from the man and the truth of the words rushed upon her!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Thanks goodness you finally realize it!” Soul Calibur said ecstatically.
“I remember now….. You…. You killed the man who was dearest to me. The man who took me in, sheltered me!” Viola was screaming and crying at this point.
At saying this, the memory rushed at her. Seeing the man, Raphael, on the floor dead, lifeless and then seeing him reanimate as the new host. He had valiantly fought against the spirit sword to save Amy but failed. Then it was Amy’s turn to fight, and be victorious….. Or die trying.
“You foolish girl. I shall cut you down.” The spirit sword had said.
After fighting the vessel for two tireless and ephemeral hours, the spirit said through Raphael’s lips.
“Perhaps you are not that weak, girl. Maybe I’ll make you the new vessel.”
Amy had shown a spark of unhidden surprise and fear in her eyes. Her face was usually emotionless, but not now. She had to act quickly if she wanted to save Raphael. She knew what she had to do. She had run up to Raphael and feinted a low, but quickly impaled his heart. Once the deed was done, Raphael started to stagger and stammered, “Amy… I…. I’m sorry….. I wasn’t strong enou-“
“Shhhh.” She hushed him. “I’ll carry your burden…”
With that, she had walked to Soul Calibur, which was lying on the ground.
“You demented gothic freak! I’ll kill you…. In fact, I’ll make you the new host! I’ll steal your memories, kill your friends and famil-“
“I have no friends or family.” Amy declared
She lifted her foot and slammed her heel down on Soul Calibur, making sure it was smashed to smithereens.
Viola came back to the present to be startled by freezing cold hands bite at her neck. Viola saw Soul Calibur in front of her trying to choke her. Viola, extremely angered, sliced at its cheeks with her claws.

You should most definitely make another thread for these! How long is this work going to be Ninja?

Any ideas for a Cause an Effect paper I must write for class? He said no non-fiction, so that's all my ideas out the window.

Uhh, I dunno it's probably gonna be looooooooooong, because this is like, near the end of the story even though I'm still at the beginning. I had this idea and didn't want to forget so I just wrote it down and posted it. :)

Hmm. I'd probably do something mythical like something about a Greek demi-god on a quest or maybe a story about someone who finds a fairy and helps it and because he did something nice the fairy will grant him wishes. Thats all I got. lol

@Darkwings: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Calibur World can't end!!! :(((( So I'm guessing the person that was last's team won? (Don't want to spoil for anyone reading this)

Ah, yeah I hate it when inspiration or as I like to call it "The Voice" hits you and you run around scrambling for a pen.

I typed it wrong, apologies. My professor said "No Fiction" so that's why I'm kind of screwed. I had a perfect thing too, with some characters from my novel! Damn college!
