Ah, reading through this thread has answered so much! I have one unanswered question, however, and I'm unaware of a better place to ask, so if there is one, please kindly redirect me (I ask here because I main aPat and this quite frankly castrates my ability with aPat, and we all hate Eunuchs). I'm a pad player simply because I've never been able to control a stick with rapid movements, and I haven't the money for an arcade stick. However, I struggle so terribly with 214 from the 1P position, which has forced me to replace 214a:B with varying follow-ups, and I don't like gambling. This also causes me terrible issues with CE from the 2P position, and my only saving grace has been a slow, careful, buffered input.
I know SCV is fairly forgiving with 8way inputs, especially for CE's, and I've about given up on even hoping that some day I can consistently get this. So I wonder if anyone has found an alternative way to get this input that can allow me a consistent Twister, whether it's buffered or not. My understanding is that a:B is the most important part of the JF Twister, so would compensating for my gimp thumb via unorthodox directional input nullify my chances of a JF?
