How in the holy hell is it even possible to do this move!? I ran into one player a while back, who was able to perform this very consistently. Never seen anyone else do it though, and i have no idea how to make it work. The flip just does not come out after the launch no matter what. I think maybe i've done it on accident once or twice total! Please tell me there is some kind of trick or tactic i'm overlooking in order to make this work. Otherwise, i dont think i'll ever be able to use it.

Edit: Just a little addition to this thread to make it a bit more useful. I would also like it if we can disscus uses and setups for this technique as well. So for those of you who can make it work, please feel free to give input on how, when and why you use/do not use it. Thank you.

i don't know what doing this does,wouldn't it be better to just say on the ground and combo people? i can do but only like %70 of the time
 
You just have to do the HCF immediately after the 3B. Pretty easy once you get the rythm. It's not a JF or slide or anything, just have to do it smoothly.

3BB is mostly a whiff punisher/heavy disadv. punisher. It's also pretty great post-GI, particularly if you aren't confident you'll get 66BA in.
 
2B+K is a frame faster and does 50 damage, 3BB only does about 40 right? seems like a pretty pointless move to me
 
I meant 3B QI B, which is what I what I was talking about in the sentence before. Why my retard hands typed 3BB afterwards, I may never known.
 
ok... about his bubbles..

i know if you hold A+B its slower... then if you just press it its normal speed...
there's a 3rd speed where its faster than normal speed.

does anyone know how to do it. >_>
 
It has a lot of block pushback. I never use it, but just because of the block pushback and being a kick it may have some merit. 10 damage though...

3B 41236 is just a very fast input, practice it. This is algol's best whiff punisher by far. It is also one of the best whiff punisher in the game. who else gets 78 damage or more on reaction to enemy whiffs? Hilde, sophie (in theory), who else? that's some pretty sick damage right there

Yun-seong's 33B 8K:k is not very far off. and it's easier to pull off than hilde's and sophie's ones.
 
Sometimes when he shoots a bubble his shield is still up. I think its a purely visual glitch, but who knows maybe its some secret move where you can block while shooting bubbles lol.
 
Hey guys, I been thinking about this lately. It's about Algol bubbles, and how I think they can cause a control lock if hit by one I think you get a free hit. Anyone wanna test this for me?

SideNote: Where would you put on the tier lsit after 1.03?

if you shoot a bubble shortly after guarding he will still have the shield out. seems useless but cool looking.

Tiamat: Button lock. I think you can't block after you're hit by a bubble. Which mgiht give you a free hit. I'm really sure care to explain, Tiamat?
 
you get a free hit after a bubble connects provided algol is close enough and able to attack before the bubble hitstun wears off
 
Can anyone tell me the us of i think its whilst rising hold 6K? Or a might be wrong. Its where he jumps high into the air and headbutts you. Its got guardbreak aswell. Is this move any gud? ive never used it
 
Are there any good Algol players on PSN out there that wudnt mind a few matches? I think i'm fairly decent but wud be nice to play against another Algol since he's so uncommon in ranked. All i seem to see sadly these days is kilik, kilik, kilik, cervy, cervy, mitsu and it goes on... :)

So any1 wana play I'm on quite alot.
