Either it was not intentionally leaked or they are gauging interest with this information flying and no denial or confirmation. Lack of denial speaking strongly now. Oh well, least we get some more characters.
 
Well, gone are my ridiculous hopes of Bayonetta. Not sure how I feel about Ezio - if this is not fake, of course. I love AC1 and 2, but the side stories of Ezio games are grinding my patience with that series. His style does fit, I suppose. I guess I just wanted a character that was a little more...imaginative.
 
I'm just glad its not anything Final Fantasy.

I'm sure the 1000s of people asking for FF already made their lightings and clouds in previous games, so you could say such a cameo is played out even before it could ever happen.

Daishi did say there would be an event around this time with Lexia being shown with the guest and i believe members at 8way attended it. Plus there was an official notice from NB about the showing. Ezio having a high profile could contribute to it being so hush-hush. Trust me; its real.

If it's real, then all this information will be that I expected, but my dear Setsuka remains not yet appeared ... and something else, I saw that SCV will be released on January 31, 2012 ....I hope that this is true.....!!!!

The 3D model of Ezio in SCV's style is definitely faked. So are all of the characters, especially since they faked it in multiple images, and that's why.

I'm not trusting this until someone tells me that the guest character isn't Ezio, then I'll believe something.

...How 'bout that?

You never know. I mean was it ever mentioned that there would only be one guest character?

Look again, closely. It's not a 3D render. It's 2D concept art.

I can't believe how many other gaming sites are running this rumor now on their front pages. LOL

It's way too late in the development of the game to gauge the reactions of including a character a company does not own. Pretty much every character that has been and will be announced is a lock for SC5. There's no likelihood of a late comer coming into the game at this late stage. Even if there is 4+ months of development time left.
 
For real, I'm not just ok with this pick. I am calling dibs new fucking main legit HYPE for this pick. Loved the AC series once they took it to the Renaissance, and loved Ezio as a character. He fits in the universe just fine. I've been sayin from the start I don't even want Cervy back in this version so I could start totally fresh, well now I know who I'm playing first.

Unless dude with the hat next to Ezio is somehow even cooler (I doubt it) I am all over this shit. And so far no word on console exclusivity, which means he'll be tournament legal. Y'all ain't ready.
