Astaroth and Viola Announced at TGS

Tokyo Game Show started today (half a day ago, due to timezones) and already a metric ton of information has been released about various fighting games for the upcoming year. Soul Calibur V is of course no exception with Famitsu getting the details on two new confirmed characters!

The first revealed character is a returning favorite... Astaroth; who if my math is correct, is now 23 years old. The second new character is "Viola"; who attacks with disembodied jewels, very similar to Z.W.E.I. She is working with Z.W.E.I. to accomplish something or another.

Is this confirmed? Will Gnouz handle the streaming?

Yo Furzy will handle the streaming it seems, it should be in HD :) He already tested his streaming equipment...stream looked pretty damn good to me, no lag, no sound problems etc.

This is his noob channel, but i guess they will stream via the gnouz account.

At my session Furzy will handle the streaming, concerning the Gnouz I don't know, they have Bobby to handle it or it will be Furzy.

I think they're referring to her SCIV moveset.

So Viola is with Zwei because she feels conection to him? Maybe he saved Amy from Raphael?

 

Ask that to Namco. They make the 'new' characters all just copies of old characters. Viola looks like Amy, if you deny this you need glasses. If it is not Amy then it's really stupid that they made a 'new' character and totally dressed her up as an old one. Only Zwei is really new.

I think if Viola is Amy then they made it look like a perfect grown-up version of the costume. Victorian gothic fashion is not just for teens.
First people complain that Amy is dressed too mature and now its not good for her at 30?
I think they also made it look so much like Amy's old costume so fans can discuss if Viola is grown-up Amy or not. Like JayCee has the necklace of Julia Chang and stuff.

It also says Viola is important to the story so i think that can be that Raphael is her final boss or part of her story and tells her who she really is. That her story is to find who she really is and that she has history with the soul swords.

When someone here said that the pearls all form A's on her outfit it made it hard for me to think it is not Amy. Wonder why they would make Viola look and sound like Amy so much and with the memory loss, if it is someone completely new and has nothing to do with Amy.

You know they named all the voice actors but not the one of Viola? Why would they do that? Maybe because if we know the voice actress of Viola, we see she is also Amy. (for the fans who can't hear from the trailer that sounds very verry much like Amy)
