can anyone pick out the input for tira's brave edge attacks from this video?

The only one I can make out is 66, Y, RT
I don't play on Xbox, so I don't know what Y or RT correspond to in-game though.

The one below it looks like it has some Japanese text, followed by 3, X, [something tiny, maybe a slide-imput], RT.

P.S. - I'm so jealous of those guys...I want to play! XD
 
interesting discussion going on bout time i chipped in too

44K should atleast not give headache and the GS version should not go back to JS so easily after launching in gloomy by the second 44K it seems more than %50 you will go back to jolly
a lot of things are too jolly happy you cant stay in gloomy for long enough
A+K should be guaranteed change after the 3rd headbutt maybe it could be something like 30,60 then %100?
if the self damage is kept on moves it doesnt seem logical that hurt her,she better make up for it with damage in gloomy or something,so to make jolly just as good make jolly fast with good frames

JF versions of 66666K etc not hurt her
SC3 spin stances aswell as canary waltz variations,i think they should have her SC3 moves and then add the SC4 and new ones
a lunge grapple,which could be the one that drains the health from the enemy and adds it to yours
or have a lunge grapple and a health drain throw or move seperate,use some meter so its not always used
she could have self damge except still make her a good enough character even with it,SC4 was too low tier
she could have a jolly side 44K just aswell as gloomy JF but the jolly one could make her change form higher chance %50-60? or she could use a bit of meter to force her stance change for 44K
let me know what you guys think the best way to handle the mood changes andd self damage is ok?there could be a few different ways

make WR K unshakeable?or make it on JS too
safer GS 4B.B.B JF i think it should have some kind of non JF version too because it seems harsh you always have to get all 3 hits for the launch,and its too unsafe to really risk anyway,maybe just make the JF guaranteed like it stuns you or something for the launch to be guaranteed

so its 66B from either state? U or GB, more damage? same with 3A. abit suprised on the move selection but we havnt seen the properties yet.

Even Kayane's findings were pretty inconclusive, unfortunately. =(

I've seen way more Mitsu in SC5 than anything/anyone else...I wish they'd give us a little taste of some of the other characters.

But! That might be a good thing, as it could imply that they're still working on some big tweaks to her gameplay (whereas Mitsu seems kind of similar)... /speculation

I agree that Tira is too JS heavy as she is now. There's TONS of ways to get from GS -> JS, but only a few ways to go in reverse (and a couple of those aren't exactly mid-battle appropriate *coughA+KandK+Gcough*). I wonder if it was an oversight on Project Soul's part, or if they intended JS to be so much more prevalent...
 
I think it'd be kinda cool if GL 3K.A had a just frame that crumblestuns them.
The only bad thing is that you can get a major combo from that move and it's very fast.

I think if they're going to force us into Jolly a lot, they need to adjust it bigtime. Maybe give the spin stances to Jolly only, and have a high chance of change with those hits, so you could get a weird combo from them. I dunno.
 
It sounds a lot like her japanese voice actress.. I'm wondering if they're subbing that because she's older/crazier..
But I really hope Jeniffer Hale does it again. She was amazing.
 
I would assume most of the characters would have new voice actors. I'd be pretty disappointed if she sounded the same as she did in 4. She is much older.
 
I know she hung out with nightmare, but I'm pretty sure Tira is a normal human, so she should be in her 30's.

Her age on her profile on Soulcalibur.com is unknown. I'm sure it has something to do with Soul Edge.
 
I remember in her 3's b ending, Soul Edge did take her over, so it's possible that after nightmare died, she became the new host for a while, until Sophie got it.. *cough* lol
 
First Tira gameplay video I've seen:

The move used at 0:25 & 0:42 looks different, almost like JS 44B, but not really.
She doesn't look all that different from SC4 (to me at least). She still has random mood swings, and still self-damages, even on whiff
