One quick question what does the "i" mean before listing frames? I know that Cervantes' iGDR means his JF Geo Da Ray. But when people say "Xiba's 9B is at i32 on block" for instance.

well when you say something IS i32 its the speed of the move. the numbers "i32" refers to frames. for example tira's JS AA is Sc4 is i14. there is 60 frames per second in SC4. there is 60 seconds in a redular match. so each round will consist of 3600 frames or less.

anyway, if they said xiba 9B is at i32. then they could refering to attacking post disadv/adv. an example would be using tira's JS AA post AA on NH (normal hit). JS AA is i14 and +1 on NH/CH. So if inputed another JS AA after my opponent was hit with a JS AA it would i13. However, if i attacked after a blocked JS AA with another JS AA. My AA would be i20 because i attacked on disadv and it would be slower. JS AA is -6 on block.

Typically a move that is faster is more suited in any matchup. However slower moves can be more useful if you 1) GI/Parry becuse a GI provides a free window of i think i20 to i21. So lets say i GIed and used a GS 22B post GI. My GS 22B would be i10 to i11 (i like doing this to inflict much SG damage. However in a post Gi your opponent has the ability to GI/parry back. 2) force your opponent to turtle, which is basically gaurding and not evading/stepping. Grabbing is good for antiturtles and so is 2A and other fast antistep moves. JS AA for exampple is +1 on hit but if you input an instant FC A (iFC A) after evry JS AA on NH/CH then your opponent will a) not step that much and b) not attempt to counterattack. So if i inputted a 3K after a JS AA on NH. My opponent will most likely block it and deal SG damage to them or before realizing the 3K is steppable they will probably get hit on it due to attempting to step too late.

This is element is actually useful with character ignorance. Everytime your opponent is hit with a move that they are unsure of. They will probably stand and turtle. JS AA would be an example of character ignorance. most people know how much it sucks, but some dont.

A step takes about i12 to i16 (?), so it takes 12 to 16 frames give or take a few less or more.

Frame data of characters is located in the wiki. the wiki section/tab/link (whatever) is located on the home page of this site. Its titled "wiki."

Here is more info and the visual if i was too confusing.

I was just fighting a Cassandra online using a CaS Tira.. They hit me with 8A+K or 22/88K when I used JO B+K and it took, no joke, half my life. It probably did ten-fifteen hits. It was INSANE! I still won, but DAMN! B+K needs help!! D:<

yeah i dont want this to happen in SCV......

Oh, my damn! That's...not okay. But still! They only did the first and it did about half of that damage.
It's so bipolar. Sometimes, their hit will only hurt once, sometimes, three times... It's insane. >.<
But, I guess that's Tira.... >.<;

Edit: It's kinda funny, you never see the gloomy smoke. She goes back to Jolly before ever being technically gloomy. lol

actually JS B+K halves the dmage you take. i like that.
Maybe halves the per-hit damage, but if they do K or whatever, sometimes the normal one-hit attack hits two-three times. The Cassandra I was playing against did 9A+K, the kick where they jump towards you and have an optional backflip after. They only did the first part and it hit me SO MUCH! It was like someone did Amy's 4B+K.

Damn optymuss thats CRAZY. Tira is kind of like Yoshi/Dampierre with taking damage and all. I like it cause I can make some rather mediocre comebacks cause my health is low with Tira and still amaze my opponent when I fight

but she still does the RAWR part... we're just afraid that the RAWR part will rape too much lives
The RARW PART IS NOTHING LIKE SC4 FOR THE LAST TIME.......

In SC5 she is guaranteed to guard impact the second hit of her enemy and then grab them and steal their health after the grab........

The guard impact move is a lot faster in SC5.

Do you have a video proving this? I really think it should just impact no matter what you do.
And it is a grab for both GL and JO?
I thought you saw the video.... -____-

There has been a video out showing this but obviously I don't miss a thing. Oh well I guess you'll just have to see for yourself when the game comes out....

BTW DID YOU KNOW THAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT JOLLY SIDE IN SC5?? YES SHE GUARD IMPACTS THE ENEMY AFTER SECOND HIT, GRABS THE ENEMY AND STEALS THEIR HEALTH AFTER THE GRAB!!!!!!!

THIS CAN BE DONE IN JOLLY AND GLOOMY SIDE IN SC5!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(lots of angry-looking capital letters)
I know what you're talking about. I was just wanting to make sure that she impacts directly after the first attack. If you could find a video, that would be much appreciated.

I already told you there was already a video that showed it!!

Lots of angry letters... LOL what the fuck is that suppose to mean??

I can easily be in a good mood and still type in BIG letters. It don't have to mean Im angry.... unless you're programmed to believe so......

LMAO like I said... sorry laughing so hard right now. LIKE I SAID I CAN'T FIND THE VIDEO BUT IT IS OUT THERE SOME WHERE!!!!!!!!.......... LOL = D
