Can someone here read info on game disks?

I actually have another question.

Have you determined anything about the empty slots on the CaS select screen? Where Ezio, Algol, and randomselect are normally?

Those are just screaming suspicious to me at the moment.

Sectus: using SC4 movesets of characters that did transition to SC5 is also buggy? Or less so ?

Ie SC4 nightmare in SC5

Do you have a modded xbox? You can't do any of the stuff shown so far without one.

I don't have one, but I'm definitely in the market for one. I'd like to rip some stuff with sc5 and also ttt2 when it comes out later this year

Intro and win animations are a part of the moveset, so those were also replaced when I moved over the files.
I meant, I've not seen Amy using that pose in SCIV... But maybe it seems different since it's Raph's body :D Anyway, do you know if it's possible to change a CaS's voice with a "normal" character's?

Oh sorry, I misread. It's one of her normal win animations in SC4 (the one where she places the sword behind her back, does a slow half spin and stretches out her arm). The camera angle is completely bonkers when using it in SC5, so that's probably why it looks different.

I imagine it's possible to swap speech sets, but I haven't tried it.

Ok ok then :D
Would be cool if someone managed to create an offline editor, I sooo want to use Ezio's moveset on my CaS xD

I imagine it's only a matter of time before a savegame editor is created. The big question is how that will affect online play.

Depends if people are "honest" enough not to use it online... I only use my modded characters against friends... Oh well, I can't wait for it to be released :D

Umm.... anyway how about japanese version, i heard japanese version have some things that they have that isnt included in western one?

I haven't found anything about that. I think I found all the icons used for that and it doesn't seem there's supposed to be an extra ones.

All movesets are equally buggy.

Well, that was worth the wait, i laughed a LOT ! Its weird to see such odd moments like CervYoda jumping aroung like a flea or the Nightmapprentice x_x. So, for what i understood in the posts after that vidéo, you imported somehow the fighting styles of sv IV on V, i'm quite curious about the process but i bet it can be complicated to explain.

Anyway, that was awesome, thanks sectus for the good time, feel free to make more!

Now...the crazy question time : if you can import sv IV styles in the Vth , then as the game engine is rougly the same since the begining, is it possible or at least do-able to import styles from older Caliburs? like the CaS exclusives of sc III or necrid/link/spawn/heihachi from sc 2?

I really doubt it can be made as they were on another generation of consoles so it sounds like impossible but as i just learned that you can 'import" files from a precedent game into a new one then it opens a lot of possibilities... not to mention that if you dream big enough you may even cross games with this, like styles from another 3D fighting game, but there i really really dont think it can be made as the engines are different.

Well, thats a long post but well, my creative and curious (sadist?) side are awaken while i see so much weird things.

now, about the modded save thingys, i dont know a bit on that but basically, does it means that people can use a save with modded / altered characters without a modded console? if so i'm a little afraid to see lots of modded saves online ruining all the game...kinda reminds me sadly monster hunter / phantasy star online dark days...

lots of questions, sorry

Maybe, but the older the game is the more unlikely it is for this to work. I can look into it at some point. I've only barely touched SC2 and 3 so I'm not sure how difficult it will be to find the files I need.

I've looked into SC4 on the PSP, but everything is compressed in an unknown format.

Different games definitely won't work, those certainly have completely different file formats.

Maybe. It's possible Namco found out about what happened with SC4 and they've now added countermeasures. I'm also not sure what this forum's stance is regarding this. I think talk about SC4 savegame hacking was banned because it could influence online gaming.
