I'd like to discuss this a little bit. How much would the ban affect NorCal's attendance? I know Cedric would not come, but would he be available to come anyway in June? I was under the impression he had some prior obligations but I don't really know when that kicks in. Would it affect the attendance of any other NorCal players?

Aww..I was having a good time teasing him. Unless Cedric commits to going, I don't think it will really affect attendance from NorCal. Krayzie is committed and I'm a maybe. Still, we all know the ban sucks. Had to throw that out there. >_<

No offense...you're a cool kid, NoFace, and you have potential, but try not to go along with the opinions in your region.
Plan how you're going to beat Hilde with Ivy, then come visit us in NorCal. Sit down for a couple days with Cedric's Hilde and maybe watch some people play against him. Even if your opinion doesn't change entirely, I think you'll realize it's not as one-sided as you believe. Since he learned on the 360, you should be able to pull off all your stuff as well.

And what do you mean it's not as one-sided? Cedric raped all of yall at the California tournaments with Hilde except for maybe one tournament where he got 2nd.

Okay, DEVASTATION is officially upholding the ban of Algol and Hilde (and bonus characters). My apologies to NorCal, and for the record, I'm okay with fighting against Hilde. It's not harder than fighting against Bryan in T6 lol.
Also, the current schedule has SC4 on Friday, and T6/SSF4 on Sat. Finals for all three will be Sunday. Depending on how long SC4 takes, the team tournament may be pushed to Saturday.
If there's a big issue I can see about moving SC4 to Sat, but it fits much better in a Fri slot and would not have to fight with T6 and SSF4 for time on the stream. If it was Sat, it would also have to be early.

I'm honored that you want to play me but don't let that be any incentive for you wanting to come out here, you'll be thoroughly disappointed. If this was SC3 2 years ago I could probably give you a good match, but I'm not much in SC4. I do hope you come though, so I can meet you in person and see you play live, but do it for the money. Kicking my ass should only be a tiny bit of extra incentive, lol.

Just as humble as I remember. You may not be SCIII Krayzie the Maxi master making him look uber broke from what I understand but imo I think u just haven't found a 100% dedicated character for SC4 even after all this time. I still think (imo) that once u gather the drive to do so u would be the best out there no question based on the stories I heard similar to the Linkrkc stories I heard. I think u and him just lack motivation because ur mains are lackluster for u. But the beast is still there for the both of u. You know the one that allows u to talk as much shit as u want :)
Regardless being humble is a good quality to have. I know u have an ego though somewhere in there. I think people with ego's are super fun as long as its justified and not outright disgusting as it makes them interesting. So if I do make it out there I want u to talk the most shit regardless so we can trash talk for days lol. Its cool ur Krayzie the SCIII Maxi legend. I won't be disappointed even if I won. Its an honor bro real talk.

I really don't want to get into theory fighter with you on why the risk/reward is in Hilde's favor 99% of the time, or how I have never seen a good anti-Hilde strat with Ivy, but know that my opinion of Hilde will never change, and that is this - she's beatable, but she sucks the fun out of the game for all but the few masochists who actually enjoy RTD vs SU -esque turtle matches.
The only way I'd ever beat Cedric is if the stars aligned and
1.) I was a MUCH better player (not true at this point in time)
2.) I get decent stage picks
I beat Kura (Yeah, the Korean Kura) at Evo with Hilde. Either I was a better player that day (false) or Hilde is a broke bitch (true).
So it's a combination of that, and the fact that admittedly I resent the fact that she destroyed my local community. There, I said it.
I'm not the only one who thinks this, if you're looking for somebody with a little more credibility, listen to Belial or Aris. They'll say the same thing.

My apologies for sparking a debate, but our region has never banned Hilde and people have found answers to deal with Hilde. So, try and see it from our point of view. Sure, I'll admit that I think Hilde is a bit overpowered, but I don't have a problem with anyone using her in a tourney setting. I don't believe most of NorCal does.
Anyways, I didn't post that to argue how broken or dominating she is/isn't. I just feel that the more you face a certain character, the better you understand how you can deal with that character. I meant to just extend an invitation, but went about it the wrong way. Since I have high hopes for you, NoFace, I wanted to try and influence your attitude about the whole situation. Anyways, NorCal would gladly welcome any of you if you wanted to come out, visit, and session with us. Maybe get some experience against Hilde if you're not dead set against playing her in a non-competitive environment.

On the SC4 rule set on the Devastation site, it doesn't say that Hilde is banned. She still is banned right?
