So Dragon's Crown comes out on the 6th of August. Same day as Tales of Xillia. I've been considering getting DC first since its cheaper and a likely much shorter than Xillia. I was wondering if anyone wanted to create group to trudge through the early game on release day (or perhaps later that week). So anyone interested?

Few things to consider:
I'm getting the PS3 version
Cross-play between Vita and PS3 is impossible.
I don't have a specific character choice yet, but I was thinking Wizard, Elf or Fighter initially.

I'm picking it up for both PS3 and Vita probably, seeing as I'm hearing Cross-play isn't happening but you can transfer your saves back and forth. I'm probably going to play as the sorceress mostly to spite Kotaku and their "controversy" over her design.
 
....for like months. I've been rocking Sorceress avatars. lol. I was surprised no one made this thread sooner.

Been mainly active discussion with the Skullheart folk and browsing SRKs thread(Demo build was at EVO). My crazy self just requested work for release week off...so yeah! At least for the games release week I'll be going in hard on the PS3 version.

And yes. Sorceress is totally the reason I became interested in the game in the first place.

I do believe you need to run through the game solo once to unlock the Online Play.
 
Got some friends who want to run this shit locally. Requested some days off work for this. Game paid off months ago.

Good gravy! The narrator's voice is amazing!

Had some kids around playing the game with me, they managed to get thrown in jail for beating on the townsfolk too much. Rather clever Easter egg there.
 
So playing the fighter I've noticed that distraction and sacrifice aren't too good.

Thinking about starting Amazon now and working counter clockwise across the table, any tips?
 
I am totally down for partying up. I am level 65 and should be beating hard mode tonight. Definitely gonna need some peeps for inferno difficulty.
 
Question about Amazon, is there skill decreases the time it takes to hit max berserk status? Also, what are all the invincibility moves the Amazon has? Parry has been pretty tricky to time.

Finally, which aerial skills are good?
 
I posted earlier that I was gonna start off with the dwarf, but because off how I have to get use to the system, I started with the Fighter instead.

So now I'm currently at level 48, pretty much all I'm doing is completing side quests assigned from the adventure guild.

I love team play, so lets team up some time.

I'm loving this game though. Definitely on the "to Plat" list.

I main Amazon and Wizard. I'm going to play through the game with all characters though because they are all awesome. The only thing that would make this game more awesome for me is if they had a color palette editor. I need my chocolate Amazon yo. The brunette color palette will have to do for now.

I have the game, its awesome. Main is Sorc, working on Elf currently. Its worth the 50 dollars IMO if anyones wondering and they like Beat 'em ups.

Also, if they come out with DLC, and I really hope they do. I'd get that for sure! Such a great game!

Now that the patch is released, cross-play between Vita and PS3 is made possible.

So anyone who's still playing Dragon's Crown feel free to add my PSN to your list.
 
Playing that jewel right now, is just amazing
As now i see it being second only to Guardian Heroes (Saturn)

If only they support it with big DLC (new characters, stages, A-B boss) i can see it surpass even GH legacy
Well, aside GH awesome arena mode, of course

Too bad i don't see it happen, and that next gen so close steal spotlight from it, but is really an unexpected golden piece in this gen

Glad Sega saved these guys from lose theyr job

Anyway fuckton of changes, had a lot of fun in my first session, new item property are crazy stuff!

I'm at floor 11 of Mirage Tower with my fighter, but i'm consider bring to Ultimate Amazon too, to give him her new special stuff

If i can give a suggestion, for ToM buy the 3 lifes protection, continue at Ultimate cost fuckton of money
