EVO2K12 Results & Shoutouts

This usually happens to me after a tournament. I get a fucked up throat and feel shitty for a couple of days. It's like they said though, I just hydrate myself and get some Tylenol warming for my throat and I'm good after a week.

Will do shoutouts later.

Just want to ask...does anyone else have like super stupid cold-flu symptoms going on? Have the worst headache/bodyaches going on, seriously stayed up shitting all night, runny nose, sore throats, and so on and so fourth. Trying to figure out if it was possibly something I ate or what...

It's called EVOla virus, and no, I'm not kidding.

Most of the people who go to EVO contract one sickness or another, almost guaranteed. I personally have a dry throat right now and the beginnings of a cough, but I know other people get even more sick than that.

Chan won $3000, SU won $1000, can't get a hold of Shining Decopon (Shining Pokemon are elusive after all) but the $10,000/$15,000 figures just make sense when you follow typical pot breakdowns.. I definitely want Evo to clarify this.. and provide some answers as to why they were so hush hush about it.

Sora : My throat is sore and my voice is hoarse as fuck.. but then again then might be from too much screaming on Sunday.

i got marijuana

but seriously, my gf has been feeling shitty all week, granted she was partying real hard throughout the weekend, but i wonder if its related, i myself feel pretty poopy, but that always comes with having to adjust from being a day walker on the weekend, and then returning to my regular night shift work, hope you all feel better soon

EVO was great because of the many different people you meet from different communities. Was disappointed with a couple of things but it's already mentioned so i'll skip it.

If you guys are coming down to Singapore for challenges, Shen Yuan and me will be waiting.

It's back to the Army for me. I'll see everyone soon :)

Congrats on your superb performance and 2nd place finish dude. I can only assume my shirt is bringing you good fortune. And btw no I will never stop mentioning it until the day you stop wearing it... and probably not even then... that is the true, hidden price you paid XD

lol same I've been really tired and down since evo as well. my throat is killing me and i've been coughing like every couple of minutes. perhaps there was something we all caught in the mm room?

I'm fine but then again I did walk 2 miles each day there so I probably just sweated the sickness away.

First evo experience made me realize I still have NOT played this game enough, so I would like to change that.

Shoutouts to:
-the Socal gang: Salmon (thanks for ride and room), Signia, NoFace, Revin, Kane, Spman, Rickstah, BL, Aqua, and others if I missed any names. Finally met that Ezio player (Juece, stop being a Florence assassin and come out to super.)

-Norcal gang: Mateo (didn't get to play you, next time), Manta (amazing Voldo play, would like to play you),
KrayzieCD (that match against banes was hilarious, keep doing that 6A+B), and Uber (still need to learn maxi matchup), and other Norcal players

-French: met Kayane, Keev, Malek, Belial (I will definitely play you guys next time)

-Singapore: Shen clan (Still don't know everyone besides Yuan and Chan, but I hope in the future I can play them. Had fun talking with Yuan, very good Siegfried.)

-Japanese: only played dusk (but amazing Tira play from Decopon in SCV GF)

-Others: Bibulus (nice meeting you, sorry for the worst introduction ever), Ramon (for AMERICA!! and next time don't lose to Kayane, but you did make $200), LostProvidence (I will play your Viola someday), Hawkeye (same goes for you), Woahhzz (apat is still too fast for me =\.), Enkindu (did not expect you to be a quiet person, well I shouldn't say that, was partially drunk when I met you), Nightblade (fellow Sieg player, avatar does look like you, see you next time), BlackMamba (good of you to stay with Salmon, see you next time), Sora (I'm waiting on that KH3 as well, sorry that was lame line.), Malice (didn't expect you to be a nice person, thanks for the fries.)

-Other people I haven't met yet, know/don't know your names, don't recognize by face, or not on 8WR (i hope to get to meet everyone else in the future.)

Lastly, "FO DA HOMIES" courtesy of MoTempest (or his ver. of Hilde's "For our homeland!!")

tl:dr - Met a bunch of people at evo from SC community. The end. But it was hype as shit.

I always assumed all none asian international players are automatically french, kind of like all none azn international kof players are automatically mexican

I'll post again later on.
I just want to thank all people who came to this and help to did this whole journey a nice one.

EVO 2012 was a really nice one for the Soul Calibur community. The rise of Asia and the number of entrant to the tournament really is the best hope for our community. Let's continue to support our game. Hope to see you all for a very long time in the different event all around the world.

And of course, CONGRATULATION Decopon.
CONGRATULATION to both Japanese Community, Singapoor Community and Korean Community.
Thank you for coming and performing so well.

France is no longer a challenge for the best, except for Keev. Time to get to work to come back on top.
Thank you all. See you.

Ps: SU rape me.

Hey everyone, it's microgamer/[ah]aggrogahu/Link cosplayer. Exactly a week later, here goes:

Anyone I played: whether in tournament or in casuals, whether I won or was gettting my ass handed to me, I had a lot of fun. Hussler, Oosaka, Rickstah, Keev, JimmyPikachu, guy from Singapore (Willis?), guy from Cali who played Cervantes at the pre-EVO BBQ. Ya'll were super chill from having just met you.

Norcal: it was cool to see you guys again after meeting you at Fanime. I'll see you guys again next year and I'll try to make it to your weeklies whenever I'm in the area.

Vegas: I was glad to see IFB and Sora doing a lot to support the local scene and the community in general. Even if you guys are playing a lot of Marvel too, it's nice to see ya'll still stay strong in SCV.

The rest of the community: everyone was really friendly. It was like "Oh, you're on 8wr? Sweet, we're friends now"
