Hilde's Secret 1FS!
So in testing tonight, I found something really awesome.
Hilde's 1FS with kG makes her step back a teensy bit.
Uses of this?
--Screwing up spacing against certain opponents.
--Doing it twice/three times to move back in essentially full guard, if step is risky.
--Quick delay for people stepping your C3 B.
So, just for some uses, I'll give examples of the three.
--Screwing up opponent spacing: You can use it especially against Astaroth & Siegfried, two people that like to be at Hilde's optimal range. Try kG and slide just out of their range, and then punish the whiff as only Hilde knows how. Of course, it only works against certain moves, but it can be useful.
--Sliding backwards in essentially full guard: If your opponent has short-range low pokes, and long range mid/high pokes, you can use this to slip backwards. Ironically, this one doesn't work well against Astaroth & Siegfried because they have long range lows, but otherwise, you can use it to slip away from people poking your shins that would stop your back step with long range.
--Quick delay for people stepping your C3 B: If you practice, you can use it to add a small addition to your C3 B. It will hit someone if they try to step, because they step, you do kG, and their step ends, and then they're hit by C3 B. The timing for this is something like, k G+^B, or maybe even k ^B G, but it's possible to do.

EDIT NOTE:
This thread is just combining all the other threads which claim some new secret to Hilde that no one else has found yet. If you find something hidden and want to discuss it - talk about it here.
