Ivy Combos

So 3B+K is conditional to where 2B+K picks them up?

I want to know more RO's with WP 3B+K, it seems really useful but I find myself REALLY stretching for it. WP 22_88B is hard to land. And beyond that...everything is conditional and i have yet to find the conditions.

Also anyone trying out my SW 3A, 66A, 1KB combo? This thing owns! I'm too lazy to test if it's shakable though but i feel it is...still 80dmg(about) is nice.

The crucial point is their distant to Ivy after being hit by 1B. If they are somewhat almost rung out(by not) being hit by 1B, this makes them slightly closer to Ivy than usual, and then 2B+K picks them closer, 3B+K links accordingly. Nevertheless I'm not sure if this is the true condition of this RO.

On SW 3A, 66A, 1KB. SW 3A is shakable. It's weird that I just saw the computer in training mode being hit by the first hit and then the second and the third, even though I set the second action to be full guard. However, 66A could be easily guard is you shake SW 3A.

properties: all wall hits can be linked directly into any stun combo of your choice,
such as SW 22_88B links directly into 6 chain. This is very good for Ivy, since it gives us options to set up CS/SS mixups.

combos I've found so far: SW66B, 6, 214K, 214K 100 damage
CL3B,SW22_88B, 214K 66 damage
SW22_88B, CL3B, 236BB

note: any moves that pushes your opponent farther away from you will help in making the wall hit connect better. Try standing K, before doing CL3B for example.

I found this combo last night. Does atleast 50% of the health bar.

CH SW 66B (wall), 4K (wall), 1B+K

I do believe its unshakeable as I had the training dummy on Ukemi.

It's not guaranteed. 1B+K connects as a techrap so that's why it resets the damage but it's still a nice find because SW 66B, 4K, 1B+K, 214K is like 140dmg if they hold G. The best way to check if something works is to record it on the other Ivy and then try it on yourself.

Odd; is it just me or is 1B+K being blocked if I just hold G after the second hit? o.O
 
You're right, for some reason I can't do it now , that's weird because last time I tried that 5 times in a row and it worked... I could only block it with 2G. I don't know why it doesn't work now. It's wall dependent? O_o
 
Idk o.O. Maybe it demands a curved wall or something.

Also, should be noted that SW 66B/22B ~ 214K ~ 214K is like 80-90 dmg iirc? Idk if that's the exact damage, but the second 214K hits for the full 100% regardless of whether the opponent techs or not.
 
In one of Link's vids he gets SW 2A+K ~ CL 236BB to hit. I tried it earlier and I hit it a couple of times, but most of the time I missed. Am I just buffering the move slow, or does this work only with certain characters?

Face: 2A+K normally puts you to CL, so you can't use 214K after. So unless you're doing the move during a stance cooldown, or while holding B, you will go to CL.
 
Yeah, but in fact it's worth to try sometimes SW 2A+K, CL 236BB. I'm pretty sure most Ivy players experienced a situation where opponent could magically escape SW 22_88K, 214K combo near wall or edge. He does that by techrolling, so CL236BB can be a good alternative... it can also RO him :>
 
So... does anyone actually use SW WS B, 214K combo? It does more damage than BT A+B and 6B9K followups and leaves the opponent in pretty bad position... this combo is MUCH easier than Linkrkc's similar combo from SC3 but still not *that* easy.

Also, it looks pretty stupid, 0 points for style ;) haha
